Buy it every yeay

I use Turbo tax every year. The program is really easy to use. The thing I like best about it is it show comparisons to what you had previous years. That shows me if I entered something incorrectly or not at all.

Happy to get in the mail

Last year I used TaxAct and it wasn't hard. This year my life got a lot for complicated because of retirement. Until last year I did all the work by myself. Just way too complicated this year. I wouldn't have known all the forms to use.

Great product

It's so simple - I'm sure I'm overlooking something that I could use to get more tax refund but it's on par with my average return. I thoroughly enjoy this process as compared to having watch my father slave through a weekend with his entire bedroom covered in papers. I'll continue to support this product.

Problem with estimated and applied taxes

I have used TurboTax for several years. I seem to always have trouble entering the taxes applied from the previous year and the extimated taxes paid this year, expecially as pertains to the state taxes. I believe the questions asked could be more specific. I always have to review the worksheet and make corrected entries.

Careful of Duplicating Data

I imported some didivend data from two financial firms, and accidentally entered the data manually as well. Turbotax did not catch this duplication. I corrected it when I viewed the 1099 before I e-filed.

Overall excellent. It's gotten faster and easier over the years. It's the only product I'll use. Wish more financial institutions were linked directly to it.
