Everything was very smooth, all worked well, seamless information entry and none of it took very long. I liked that you could go back and review or change prior inputs. I plan to use year after year after year....

For the past several years I have used Turbo Tax to file my income tax returns. This year I was terrified because my husband died and I was not sure how to handle that. Then my children urged me to take all of my money out of my 401 Ks and put it in safer annuities. I had absoluted no idea how to put this in my income tax forms. However, slowly step by step, your program walked me through it all and I was still able to file through your program and not have to pay big bucks to an Accountant to handle this years return. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

Most entrys are easy to do. The instructions make it clear (mostly) what is to be entered in each location. The guided method of reviewing and making entrys is quite complete.
The only questionable entry for me was filling in the estimated tax payments and the amount applied from the prior year. It was not fully automatic. Possibly entering the amount applied from the prior year and and the amount actually paid in the same location would make it clearer to understand.

Turbotax has many errors and inconsistencies with the following items. This is concerning because these items are NOT "fringe" items, but rather, basic tax principles. I don't understand why Turbotax struggles with these issues year in and year out. Preparer beware...
* Medical premiums
* EIC
* Mortgage "points" paid
* Wages earned out of state or country
* Turbotax won't accept valid US zip codes very easily

I have been a Turbo Tax user for over five consecutive years now and it just keeps getting better. Every year they have gotten me the maximum return and made filing a breeze. I would recommend Turbo Tax to anyone who is a student or is just plain tired of mulling over difficult to understand form instructions. Turbo Tax is like having your own personal accountant for a fraction of the cost of what the other guys charge.
