Going down hill.

Reviewing schedule M line 10 showed $250, I'm filing jointly, but never asked me for this info. I had $500 between my wife and it said on line 10 to put down $500...I could not change it. I spent a lot of time digging on your web site to find this "$250" was correct in my case as I am still working. This was never explained or asked during the process. It was nice that TURBO TAX did this correctly but it would helped if it was explained and I would have saved a lot of time as I thought this was an error and I want my return to be correct.

A Much smoother program than H&R Block TaxCut. If filling out taxforms can ever be considered easy, than this program fulfills that goal.

I used TurboTax Basic, which does a perfectly fine job. But I was constantly told that I needed to upgrade. It wanted me to buy a separate State Taxes program, and our state doesn't require this.

after using turbo tax for many years, this year's basic edition for 2009 (2010 filing season) was a total peice of garbage! i though i would get my taxes done early but due to the "estimated state sales tax OR standard deduction" not pulling the numbers correctly on my taxes it totally confused me and wouldn't add the correct deduction to the file. also i keep getting different refund amounts due to this procedure. HEY! i even decide to uninstall turbo tax and reinstall to start a new. so when i did reinstall it AGAIN on my puter......well son of a gun, the if tax figures/info from the pervious unistall appeared on the new install turbo again. what a haunting experience! so i had to fight the giant again! in the end i almost gave up and went to a tax advisor to due my taxes but presisent paid off and i "sleught the dragon". next year in 2011 i think i'll QUITE using Turb Taxes and go to a tax counsultant OR try another BRAND name tax perparation software! this year's Turbo Tax has lost my faith as a long standing customer of another TT purchase

Could be improved by just a few changes:
On opening page show name on return. (I have two returns.) Have a way to move to an area without going through all the prompts previously answered. Allow reading/printing of final return without all the worksheets and Turbo Tax info. Show access to online chat - helpful but hard to find how to access.
