Easy to Use

Overall, Turbo Tax is pretty easy to use. This is the first year that I used the "basic" edition since I didn't have any complicated issues. I was able to do the whole thing in about two hours.

a reliable program

Some of the more basic forms are good to go, but other forms that are business related, still needs to have a little more guidance so the tax payer can enter the correct data. Although there is other kind of choices some cost money therefore the information entered might be wrong due to lack of basic help from the system.
Otherwise this program is one of the best I have used. I am a return customer every year since 2002.

Basic Works Great

I have always used the deluxe version and was concerned that the basic version would have trouble with the few stock transactions I have including HSAs and using stock for charitable donations.
So I thought I might be taking a chance on using the Basic version but it worked like a charm. Not a single problem. Great purchase and experience!

A checklist of documents needed prior to starting would be nice. I didn't know until I got to the charity section that I needed the address of the charities and the date of the donations. I thought I only needed the name and dollar amount. Thanks.
