Does a good job of importing financial data. Easy to review/add documents.
Dislike offers to upgrade when not needed for task at hand.

2009 Experience with Turbo Tax

I do my taxes manually first, then use turbo tax to make sure I did not overlook anything and to take advantage of the fast filing for a refund. I was generally pleased using turbo tax as it was easy to use. Additionally, turbo tax found 2 deductions I would have overlooked worth a little over $300.
However, the disc software had a bug that precluded automated filing and that took me some time to figure out that I needed to download a patch to automatically file. It took some additional time to download the patch, execute (run) the patch, and then proceed. to the end including the automatic filing
Overall, despite this surprising problem, I would give turbo tax high marks. Unfortunately, those that were stumped and were unable to figure out what to do and did not download the patch are unlikely to buy this software again next year.

frustrating tax return

I have always been pleased w/ using turbo tax. This year I was very frustrated by how slow the program was. It took a long time to go from page to page, item to item.

Good Tax Tool

Turbo Tax is always easy to follow, a good tool for doing taxes, I've used it for years. This year though, I observed slow performance using Turbo Tax. I'm not sure if the software has advanced or not, but screens didn't always advance like they should and locked up at times. My computer is less than 1 year old and shouldn't be the cause of any issues. Otherwise, I recommend it.
