After all these years - it is still great

I started using TurboTax in 1989 and I've used it every year since then. It does not matter what the cost is. It is cheap compared to the savings in STRESS. I used to fill out my own tax returns. I'm capable of doing that. But, why in the world would I want to take on the HASSLE and STRESS of doing my taxes again? I used to pore over the instructions and the definitions. I used to worry that I left things out, that I skipped forms, that I didn't put numbers in the correct place, that I didn't totalize thinks correctly. I have a fairly simple tax return now. I might even qualify for the free TurboTax, but who cares? I gladly purchase TurboTax each year. I don't want you guys to go out of business because you did too many free tax returns!

TT 2009 is very SLOW, still have TT 2008 on my machine and it runs fine, so this problem is definitely a program issue. Please return to the 2008 version for 2010.

IT WAS MUCH BETTER AT LEAST 8 YEARS AGO.
THERE IS TOOOOO MUCH "HELP"
I HAVE USED IT ENOUGH THAT I THINK THE HELP IS A HINDERANCE. I MUCH PREFER DIRECT ACCESS TO THE FORMS, WITH HELP AVAILABLE IF AND WHEN NEEDED - THAT MAY MEAN 2 VERSIONS: BEGINNER & EXPERIENCED.

Quick eary return

Easy to install, the guide is fairly easy to understand. Makes quick work of Federal taxes. State tax program is too expensive. In Illinois there is a free website to use for filling your taxes.

Previous versions showed what was answered when I went back to review a section. This was disappointing and a wasted my time when I had to re-answer the questions again.

This return was practically effortless. The search field is great. I had a form that I didn't initially see, but I just did a search and the information came right up!
