A little deceptive...

I bought a copy hoping taxes would be easy to file for $20. It was easy, but I was surprised to find out that purchasing and filing state income taxes was THREE times the cost ($60). An accountant did our taxes last year for a few dollars more than this, and even more I felt a little taken advantage of that you have to pay exorbitantly for state taxes. Had they more readily publicized this it would have been one thing, but it takes quite some time (and effort) before this becomes evident. At that point I felt trapped in. Will probably use again in the future, but nonetheless disappointed at this apparent dishonesty.

This review assumes you have used TurboTax for a few years. I have and I think this one is a good improvement over all years.
I think their summary tool needs improvement. When I looked at the summary of withheld taxes and clicked on the blue total it only gave me the sum, again and not the piece parts. Whereas wages summary was done well. When you click on the blue number the piece parts are displayed.
All told, I like the product and recommend it.

Nice free product that is easy to use. Only downside is how often you are asked to purchace an upgrade or partner's product or service.
