Terrible Program.

Your 3 levels of worksheets, add so much complexity to data entry that your program becomes much more complex and frustrating ( and time consuming) than entry with a pen and paper on IRS forms.
The only advantage to Turbotax is calculations.
PLEASE ALLOW THOSE OF US WHO CAN FILL OUT IRS FORMS TO DIRECTLY ENTER THE NUMBERS ONTO THE FORMS - then Turbotax can simply calculate the taxes.

CON you make it any worst?

as far a I am concerned every year you unimprove the program. making it more complex, harder to move thur & more expensive. NOW you charge high hits for state.
What the h-e-l-l (is NOT inappropriate either you believe it & who ever improves this program will be there, or you don't & it is meaningless--grow up) is wrong with you. I intend to try any other program next year. The chore of reentering my data to a new program, can't be as much work as this years turbo tax was.
Has H&RBLock bought you & trying to shut you down?? It is working then if that is the game. I had better buy their stock & sell any of yours.

Minor Problems

The only other comparisons I have are for prior year turbo tax. I found 2009 to be more difficult with a few minor flaws. The program did not seem to remember where it left off. It left the daytime phone number off of the return - I even went back to be sure the number had copied over correctly from the prior year. Error checking found no errors, but left some items under some tabs "not visited" (or something like that). Most of the categories were not applicable though and this may have been recognized by the program through other Q&A. It appeared like an error or to be incomplete during a manual review of sections. I only discovered it when I was searching to return to where I left off the day before. Hopefully, fine tuning will improve for next year!

Wrote my Senator asked for turbotax to be banned from doing tax work and also Vanguard I will withdraw my funds if they work with Intuit in the future
