This Year, Horrible Software

There is a MAJOR glitch in this year's Turbo Tax in which the $250 Work Credit is AUTOMATICALLY added to your tax return form.

Near the end of the return, the auto-guide kept asking me about doing a Florida return. There's no income tax in Florida and TurboTax knows that so the questions baffled me. A few years ago, TurboTax mishandled my new Roth IRA conversion which cost me in late taxes and penalties. More recently (a couple years ago), it didn't know how to handle HSAs. Other than those glitches, the software has been satisfactory considering how complex the tax code is. If something doesn't seem right, it pays to get another opinion.

Product review worked just like the product - good at first with the simple stuff, then bad as things get more complicated toward the end. With the number of years of experience with this product, one would think it would be "bullet-proof". Instead, its seems to be nothing but a work in progress. P.S Your charges are completely out of line. The more the automation, the price should come down.
