Good purchase

I love having a top loader and also not having the agitator. The only downfall is that sometimes our daughter's food covered clothes (she is one) don't come clean as easily as they did with a agitator washer. I love the dryer. It is quick and effective. Both are pretty quiet machines.

Bought this about a week and a half ago and it's already seen its fair share of testing! We have run quite a few loads, including cloth diapers full of baby "prizes" and it's done a wonderful job!

Excellent washing machine

This whirlpool washing machine is the best I have ever had. My husband and I watched it when we did our first load and was amazed at the brain of the machine and how it balances the load adds the water etc I could go on for an hour about it. Then my son tried it he was impressed on how it works and it's so easy to run good work whirlpool.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought this two months ago. The size is great but the machine is much louder than I thought it would be. It replaced an lg which was significantly quieter

I am very disappointed

I would love to have my old washer back. This washer with all the features is a disappointment. It does not clean as well as my old washer. It is almost like the new water efficient toilets that you have to run twice. I have had to run some loads twice because of all that is left on them.I wish I could take it back and get my old washer back.It looks great, is quiet, and water efficient. But it does not clean my clothes well, sorry to say.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Learning curve for sure

I've had this for about 3 weeks. I usually don't read manuals but I did this time. I would recommend reading it. I've had a front loader for the past 11 years and before that I had a top loader with an agitator. I had forgotten the pain it is for a load to come unbalanced. It happens alot with this washer. BUT I was the problem. I was loading it incorrectly. After I was shown how to correctly load this washer, it hasn't been a problem. I've washed 3 bulky loads since being instructed, and so far no problems. As far as the cleaning, it's good, not great. For example, I have 2 large dog pads which get dirty. I've washed them twice. They aren't getting clean enough. I'm still learning this machine though. So I haven't given up. Clothes have come clean. It's the bigger items that I'm concerned with. Other advice I've been given: 1. Do not use liquid softener. According to the repairman, it can cause mold over time. 2. Use only 2 tablespoons of liquid detergent no matter what the bottle says. 3. Do not use the auto chlorine dispenser. Dilute it in a cup of water and pour it in the machine before you load it. According to the repairman, over time the chlorine will splash onto the metal cabinet in the back left hand corner and this will rust out the cabinet. 4. When washing bulky items, chose a lower spin than the machine choses. (I believe this has helped my issues). 5. Keep old towels, tee shirts etc. near the washer to help balance loads when you are washing smaller loads. Love the features of this washer though. Odd sounds, but very quiet. Just different.

We bought the set over 6 months ago and are so happy with the purchase. Price was about middle of the road, but quality is wonderful. Our clothes have never been so clean!
