Hate this machine

We bought it maybe 6 months ago and it's the worst washer we ever owned. It actually makes your clothes dirty. My black clothes always comes out of the machine with white spots. I tried everything. Washing it twice, washing it inside out, washing it with extra rince, putting less clothes, putting less soap... I've never experienced such a nightmare when it comes to washing my clothes. Hate this washer. Don't buy it unless you want your clothes dirtier and you want to look like a fool.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Space where gunk builds up in washing barrel that I'd not easily cleaned. Light colored comforters will com out dirty. Also small items fall between barrel and machine which causes it to go off Balance and then have soaking wet clothes.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washing with my new Whirlpool Cabrio Platinum 4.8cu.ft Top Loader, makes my days much easier and effortless when I have this washing machine to practically think for me........

I bought this matching washer & dryer set when my 18yr old dryer gave out. Naturally, I was dreading having to research all the current offerings, haggle with salesman and most of all incur the expense of replacing my machines. Happy with the Whirlpool machines I had purchased when I bought my home in 1998, I couldn't be happier with my choice now. They sit slightly higher for comfort, the washer has an open cavity making loading and unloading much easier and the selections on the control panels address every possible laundry scenario. The fact that they are more energy efficient doesn't hurt either!
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am really pleased with this purchase. The machine has a newer look to it, not like the boring old washer and dryers from days past. The clothes are effectively cleaned and spun so well that they take very little time to dry. The cost of running these has greatly reduced my electric bill as well as my water bill, compared to the machines I replaced with this set. The machines are a bit costly, but the savings you will see in your monthly bills will balance that out and in the end will be well worth it.

This product is great. It is quiet and runs smoothly. It is loaded with extra features and technology to help maximize your washing experience. It is a deep washer so that is the only downside. My wife is shorter and sometimes it is hard for her to reach the bottom but I am 6' and have no issue.
I would recommend this to a friend!
