Surprised and Pleased

We received our new Whirlpool washer in November 2013. Having used an agitator-type machine for 17 years, it took us a while to get comfortable with how a high efficiency machine operates. It seemed like some of the wash cycles just took such a long time. But, the clothes came out of our new washer so much less stressed than with our old model. We adjusted to the cycle times and are very happy with the machine's performance. The Whirlpool high efficiency washer was an excellent purchase and we look forward to it providing us with many years of service.

We explored several options and all pointed to the Cabio. Even the repairman, who had no stake into which new washer, recommended it.

Not a good blanket washer

I bought this washer because it had a large capacity for blankets but, the blankets always get bunched up on one side of the washer and If you don't rearrange them before all the wash water drains out, it doesn't spin out the wash water, it just starts filling up the rinse water. And then you have to rearrange them again after the rinse water drains out. But to be fair to whirlpool I doubt that any of these types of washers can keep blankets evenly loaded in the machine. And I don't see how this machine is supposed to be energy efficient when it runs twice as long as the old agitator type machines.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought the washer dryer combo and they work wonders! The amount of spaceis unbelievable and there are many options on both washer and dryer!
