It seems to be working well. I love that the motor presents very little noise. The air in my stuffy apartments seems less so.

I got the BreatheSmart Fit50 with the VOC filter for the purpose of taking care of VOC smells. It doesn't do anything to improve VOC or chemical odors. This is very disappointing considering how expensive it is. I already own 2 Alen T500 purifiers. I just bought 2 more T500's. They all do a good job. The BreatheSmart Fit50 is basically the same as having a larger T500. I am pleased in that respect, but it definitely does nothing for VOC or chemical smells.

It sounds like it just needs to be run on a higher fan speed to be able to properly circulate all the air in the room and remove those VOCs! ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just went to my doctor & had to do a regime of allergy pills and shots. But I still had all the symtoms of the allergies. Read all the information on ALL purifiers and this one was suggested, so I bought it instantly. I have 2 Dysons for the 2 small bedrooms but it would never work in the living room. The first time I used the Alen Fit 50 within ten minutes it felt so much cleaner. My husband loves it, he is a Vet and has no legs and when he gets up at 4 am, he told me he turns it on and it can smell the cleaner air. We also have a 110lb. long-haired Shiloh Shepherd as a service dog and no dog smell or anything. I am so HAPPY with this purifier and the quietness of it,and most of all it's total efficiency of purifying the air. LOVE IT!!!!

Works extremely well, helps my breathing a lot. I also have a Paralda for my shop. Alen makes great air cleaners and over the years I've tried several brands. Alen works the best!
