Great coffee maker except cracked water resevoir

I bought this coffee maker about 3 months ago. I loved it until the water reservoir cracked when I pulled it out to fill it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Weak Coffee

I purchased this pot four weeks ago. The first two weeks I loved everything about it. The last two weeks it brews incredibly weak coffee - no matter how much coffee grinds I put in. I'm making the coffee the same way I did the first two weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions?

A weak-tasting coffee might be a cause of usage of not recommended coffee grinds for drip coffee makers or the ratio of your coffee grind and water might not be balanced. To remedy this, only use a standard coffee grind. Ensure to put enough water into the water reservoir. If you prefer a stronger coffee, add more grounds.

Pot doesn't keep coffee hot

Disappointed in two things: 1) - the pot doesn't keep coffee hot for more than 30 mins and 2) it's really hard to clean the inside of the pot due to the narrow opening. Coffee brews okay and quickly. Has a strange "on" button that makes you think you haven't pressed it hard enough.

-If your unit has a thermal carafe, make sure that it is clean and that the lid is kept closed. -The thermal carafe should keep coffee warm for 2 to 4 hours after brewing. -Try preheating the thermal carafe by rinsing the carafe out with hot tap water before brewing, especially in the winter months if you live somewhere cold.
If the coffee brewed is cold, the unit may need to be replaced. Your Mr. Coffee® Optimal Brew™ 10-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker has a 1-year limited warranty. Disappointing

I have not even had this 6 months and the carafe keeps falling apart. So disappointing. I was expecting better quality from the Mr Coffee brand. Help!

The Worst

I am so disappointed in Mr. Coffee and this coffeemaker. This coffeemaker has been nothing but problems since I got it. First the black handle area of the carafe separated from the bottom of the carafe and I had a horrible time trying to get it back together. I got it back together and it started rusting all around the area where the two join together, on the inside as well as the outside was rusting. I was going to just throw this coffeemaker out but instead I let Mr. Coffee know that others may have a problem with this and wanted to give them a heads up. They sent me a new one, which was wonderful but the pot does not fit the exact same coffeemaker, even though it is the same model. It is too short and now leaks all over my counter. I would not recommend this coffeemaker to anyone. Because I am so fed up with this style, I will have to go out and purchase a "regular" coffeemaker. Although Mr. Coffee has been very good about their making this better, I am just so over this. Don't buy this item if you have a choice.

Best Coffeemaker ever!!!

I love everything about this coffeemaker. The removable water pitcher is so convenient, no hot plate to make the coffee bitter, the charcoal water filter, stainless steel carafe, the stylish look, the cleaning alert, just everything!!

Carafe leaks

I purchased the second one of these to replace the original that stopped working (got 5 years of great service out of the first one). I've had it for several months and now have a carafe that leaks between the upper black handle and the lower stainless portion. Please tell me you have identified the issue and have a permanent fix because many of us seem to have the same issue.
