My favorite coffee maker

I have had my Mr. Coffee for years. I love that it is so easy to program and easy to clean. The carafe keeps coffee hot for over an hour (and is airtight, so stays fresh). It is easy to add water and the only thing I would improve is better markings for the number of cups.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The float in the water tank is NASTY

I bought this a few yrs ago and has been AWESOME. Except for the mildew smell in the tank. We didn’t use it every day when we first go it but always made sure to wash it and thoroughly dry it before putting it back together when we did. It’s been our daily coffee maker for a few months now but I can never get the smell out. I’m done using it because I will not drink mold.

Thermal Carafe leaks and becomes disconnected

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the way the coffeemaker runs and how the carafe keeps the coffee hot but I notice black stuff which doesn't appear to be coffee leaking where the black handle attaches to the carafe. Then yesterday, the whole handle popped off the carafe. The only thing that stayed attached was the handle. I thought it may screw back on but that was not the case. I am little worried to use it because I'm not sure what the seeping is from and why this section came off. I am also concerned this is part is going to pop off when I am pouring the hot coffee out after it has brewed. Other than the carafe, I am very happy with this coffeemaker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Need gasket

I've had mine for several years. Leaked twice. But, the rubber gasket around the lid broke and is now completely gone. Wants to leak when pouring. Where can I get a replacement gasket?

Redesign gone wrong

I have used this particular coffee pot for a decade. Love it. I recently bought a new one (so we could have two going) and it always leaks. The leak is from the part that dispenses coffee into the pot. Thinking it was defective, I returned it for another and it does the same thing. Very disappointed.

For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate. Ensure to use medium grounds and make sure that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn't been cleaned recently. If these measures won't work and the problem still persists, take note that our coffee maker has 1 year limited warranty, if you have any questions about the warranty or want to get warranty service, please message us directly. Quit working after less than 3 years

I bought this when we moved in our house in 2019. We take good care of it and clean it regularly. Recently, the buttons and display malfunctioned and none of them work rendering the coffee-maker useless. When I plug it up the numbers just cycle through on the display as if the clock is being adjusted but it won't stop and no buttons work. This is a shame as we LOVED this coffee pot. The double-walled carafe is brilliant because you can have hot coffee without it being burned or bitter. I am so disappointed!

To remedy this issue, 1st, check if there is no physical damage on its cord. 2nd if there's none, try unplugging the coffee maker and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. 3rd Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Please do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance. Try cleaning the coffee maker with a vinegar solution if it hasn't been cleaned recently. If these measures won't work and the problem still persists take note that our coffee maker has 1 year limited warranty. Please contact us directly so we can help you with warranty replacement. Exchanged twice both leaked

Very disappointed. I exchanged it twice both leaked from reservoir. I just came to terms that this was a waste of money.
