DO NOT BUY!! Waste of money! Stopped working@ 3 wk

After less than a month of use our brand new Mr. Coffee just completely stopped working. Does not brew coffee at all— just sits there. The clean light comes on constantly— will not go off — despite instructions to turn it off after brew. Now it just stopped brewing. For the record— I’ve already run the cleaning cycle twice just in case.

We're sorry to hear that it's not brewing. To remedy this issue, try unplugging the machine and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. You can also try to plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. We suggest to not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the machine's performance. If troubleshooting techniques won't work, please contact us directly regarding the warranty or would like to obtain warranty service so we can determine the best resolution. My coffee maker lasted around 5 months. It doesn't shut off after brewing. It produces a lot of steam at the end for some reason. I'm not sure what would happen if I hadn't noticed it right away. I have been cleaning it better than its recommended 90 cycles. Basically it's a piece of junk now.

This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. The possible reason for this issue is that the coffee maker might be having too much condensation. To lessen too much evaporation, check if everything is properly locked in place, most especially the coffee maker lid.

Great coffee maker

I’m not sure where all the terrible reviews are coming from, but this is a great coffee maker. I’ve never had ANY issues with it. I always use purified or distilled water and have never had scaling problems of any kind. I’ve also had great experiences with the insulated carafe. I’ve had coffee in there for 12 hours and it has still been warm. Anyone with greater expectations than that seems to think that Mr. Coffee has the ability to alter the laws of thermodynamics.
I have never had any leaks or problems with the coffee grounds getting into the brew, so anyone who has issues like this must have a faulty specimen. But, after seeing the responses from Mr. Coffee, it seems like they are very willing to fix any complaints that come up.
I’ve had this pot for over a year now and have had to run the cleaning cycle twice with no issues. My only minor complaint would be cleaning, as the lid of the carafe has a tendency to hold a bit of water, so it needs to be shaken quite a bit to get all the water out of it when cleaning.
I would highly recommend this pot to ANYONE.
I would recommend this to a friend!

carafe leaks

I'm on my 3rd carafe and they all leaked where the black handle portion meets the stainless steel. A mess every time I make a pot. Terrible design. Very frustrated.

I love the coffee pot

I loved my Mr. coffee- coffee maker. I have no complaints whatso ever, except when unplugging from the wall the metal prongs on the plug were so hot, it was burning my
hands when unplugging. I sure didnt want to burn my house down for a pot of coffee.

Coffee doesn’t brew right

Even with extra coffee grounds and less water the coffee is still too clear/watery. Sometimes the grounds don’t even looked like the water has run through them. I’ve had to remake the coffee nearly every morning several times until it finally looks like coffee. Very disappointed

Great coffee, but immediately leaked

I owned the same machine for 6 years it leaked a little, but I purchased the same model and from day 1 this things leaks likecrazy! We followed instructions but the coffee leaks EVERYWHERE. However the coffee is hot a delicious so I keep a dish towel under to catch all the leaking.

For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, and make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate. Ensure to use medium grounds and that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn't been cleaned recently.

Have had 2 Mr. Coffee's now....will not buy again

This is our second Mr. Coffee in the last 3 years. Makes good coffee but gets slower and slower until it takes 20 minutes per pot. The lights are dim, the programmable function quits working, and the clean light stays on all the time. Too bad...it makes good coffee but it doesn't last. I'm just over my year warranty on this second Mr. Coffee

If the coffee maker brews slowly, the coffeemaker needs cleaning. Also if the clean light stays on and the programmable function quits working, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips, and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance.

We know that having a coffee maker that is not working is such an inconvenience and we truly want to assist you with that. However, please understand that your unit only has a one-year limited warranty. As of today, your unit is already beyond the warranty period.
