Best pot ever

I bought my first one of these about 15 yrs ago. No problems but it did die after about 10 yrs. so I bought another. It's only leaked twice: once when I put about 12 cups of water in (way above the max fill line) and once when I mistakenly doubled up the filters. In other words, both were user errors. This is the best coffee pot I've ever had. Brews fast and makes a great cup of coffee!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good coffee system except lacks spare parts

Seems like these coffee makers last about 2-3 years. My latest one continues to brew just fine but you will not be able to order any replacement gasket for the lid. The LED display appears to go dim over time so it's very hard to see.

Thermal Carafe

I have owned several of these. The coffee is good and the Thermal Carafe is a great concept but you can expect to have to replace the carafe for leaking around the edge of the black plastic and metal. Depending on how old it is the company will replace. If you can tolerate the carafe problem it’s a great coffee pot.

Nice Thermo Carafe

This was a spontaneous purchase. I’ve been using a K-cup coffee maker. In the current economy of run away inflation I decided to change things up a bit. After setting this coffee maker up I decided to brew a pot. I was really to do some clean up just in case it leaked as per some reviews. I didn’t experience any leaks at all. I have a natural spring fed well so my water is very pure. I don’t even need a water softener system. However I still use a water filter pitcher for my coffee makers. With the added filter on the coffee maker as well I got a nice strong/dark and robust pot of coffee. Time will tell if this was a wise choice but at first use I can say I’m happy for now. I gave it 3 stars due to the fact that there has only been one pot made to date.

Liked the coffee BUT

I purchased this coffee pot because of the metal carafe. I found glass carafes broke easily. The basket broke easily on this pot, and it took MONTHS to replace it. It is in its second year and the clean button lights up after using it 3 times. So I have cleaned it --frequently. Now the water reservoir does not completely empty. If I knew of a better coffee maker, I would buy it. I have given 3 stars because it lasted more than a year and it makes good coffee.

This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. For a possible fix, your coffee maker may need to be cleaned or descaled as hard water deposits (or mineral deposits) can greatly impact the ability of your coffee maker to brew properly. Here are the steps on how to do descaling: Fill your coffee maker's water chamber halfway with white vinegar. Fill it the rest of the way with water. Put a paper filter in the basket to catch any hard water deposits or other debris that may be loosened. Brew half of the water/vinegar mixture, then turn your coffee maker off.
Your coffee maker has a year limited warranty only. If this doesn't resolve your issue, you may have it checked or repaired in our authorized service centers. Hope this helps. Have a nice day!

I need a Filter Disk

Where can I find the water filtration disk? Or do I just have to continue to buy the 12 cup only to get the disk and then throw the rest in the trash. It’s infuriating and harmful to the environment. I’m not happy.

It leaks

This 10 cup coffee maker leaks almost everytime we use it. We have cleaned it, made sure that the basket drains properly, but the Ness it causes, is not worth it.

Fowl smell in carafe, fowl tasting coffee

No photos just fowl smell. Purchased 1 month ago, I like that it brews quickly unfortunately, I can’t get the fowl smell out of the carafe after several washings and soakings with soap & vinegar

Please try cleaning the coffee maker by following the instructions below:
1. Fill reservoir with 6 cups of undiluted, white household vinegar*. 2. Remove optional water filtration disk. Place empty paper filter or permanent filter in brew basket. 3. Place the empty decanter back in the unit. 4. Press the CLEAN button to activate the Cleaning Function a. When activated, the cleaning light will pulse and the Brew Now/Off button will remain illuminated b. A counter will be displayed on the LCD screen. The counter will begin at 45 minutes and will count down until it reaches zero indicating the cleaning cycle is complete. NOTE: The entire cycle will take 45 minutes to complete. 5. During the cleaning cycle your coffeemaker will: a. Slow brew approx. 3 cups of cleaning solution. b. Pause for 30 minutes (the CLEAN light will pulse to alert you that the process is active). c. After 30 minutes, your coffeemaker will brew the remainder of the cleaning solution. 6. When complete, the CLEAN light will turn off and your coffeemaker will turn off. 7. Discard the cleaning solution, paper filter (or rinse the permanent filter) and rinse the decanter and filter basket thoroughly with clean water. 8. Brew 2 full 10 cup cycles with clean water.
Your coffeemaker is now clean and ready to brew the next pot of delicious, hot coffee!
