WORKED GREAT FOR ABOUT SIX MONTHS, NOW LEAKS

This machine is leaking coffee almost every day now. Not sure what happened, it used to be pretty flawless. The carafe itself did develop a leak at the seam between the black plastic and the metal, but they sent me a replacement carafe (had to jump through some hoops for that). It's only about 10 months old. Pretty disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Leaks everywhere

Leaks all the time everywhere. VERY disappointed in Mr. Coffee. The price for this machine is ridiculous for such a defect/design flaw, poorly made item and it does not appear that others have received a resolution.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate. Ensure to use medium grounds and make sure that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn't been cleaned recently.
Your coffee maker has a year limited warranty. If this doesn't resolve your issue, we'd like to kindly request that you contact us directly in order to help you get to the best resolution. Have a good day!

Still leaks in 2021

I bought this less then 2 months ago and it started leaking a week ago. While looking through the reviews I noticed there was the same problems >6years ago! Really Mr. Coffee this hasn’t gone through a design change! In search of a new coffee maker.

Don’t Brew When Tired

We bought this last December. It is soooo touchy! If everything is not in the perfect position, it leaks everywhere. Don’t make coffee when tired. We often forget to set it up the night before and suffer in the morning.

It leaks

Had it 2 days. It over flows and leaks over the counter. It also Leakes at the seam at the pot when you pour coffee out of the pot. Will need to return it. I purchased this one because I had the same one for 8 years and it worked well until it died last week. The old one started leaking last month, them it stopped brewing.

For a possible fix, please check if the filter basket is inserted correctly and the carafe is properly placed on the warming plate. Also, try using standard coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the coffee basket. Lastly, make sure not to remove the carafe from the warming plate for more than 30 seconds while brewing.
Also, if your coffee maker is not turning on, it might be because the unit is not getting enough power from the wall outlet where it is currently plugged in or the wall outlet itself is a non working outlet. To remedy this issue, check if there is no physical damage on its cord and if there's none, try unplugging the coffee brewer and let it rest for 3-5 minutes. Plug the unit into a different wall outlet and see if it will work. Do not use it with any extension cords, power strips and power converters or inverters as it may affect the coffee maker's performance.

Sad news-the heating element died & no replacement

Mr. Coffee - go green and let us buy a new heating element so we don't have to scrap the whole maker just because this part died. We bought this about 2 years ago. I get it that heating elements have a limited life, but the rest of the maker is great. We love how long the carafe holds the heat of the coffee. But it is such a shame that we have to scrap the whole thing. What great marketing if you could say this is an environmentally friendly machine because you can fix things that might have wear and tear.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Garbage

Brand new and it leaks all over. The little paper water filter is also a joke as it falls apart almost instantly. There is also a plastic burning smell that overpowers the puddle of coffee that had leaked all over the place. This thing is garbage.
