Leaks

My carafe leaks where the stainless steel and black part meets. I have only had it 2 weeks. I am so disappointed

Leaking fixed

Coffee maker would leak all over the counter. Found a loose screw on the finger that shuts off the water/coffee when you pull out the pot. To fix, remove 4 screws on the bottom on the unit to remove the bottom. Remove the filter box. In the bottom of the filter box there is a mushroom shaped shutoff button. Holding the button, insert a Phillips screwdriver behind the finger of the shutoff valve where the carafe goes and tighten the small screw. this will prevent it from leaking past the button. This was obviously a manufacturing defect but can be corrected.

Very disappointing

I replaced my old unit only to find that this one leaks while brewing and while pouring. I tried to use my original carafe but, of course, it does not fit the new base.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

For a possible fix, please check if the filter basket is inserted correctly and the carafe is properly placed on the warming plate. Also, try using a standard coffee grounds and avoid overfilling the coffee basket. Lastly, make sure not to remove the carafe from the warming plate for more than 30 seconds while brewing.

This is a great coffee maker!

I have had this for over two years and it still works the same as new! The only thing I have replaced is the water filters at the time for replacement. I have added a second carafe when I have company to brew quick. The carafe stays warm for a long time! I would recommend this product if you are looking for programable features, easy brew and long time warm coffee with out the taste of over burned coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great style but leaks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I got this coffee pot as a wedding present and at first we loved it. It keeps the coffee warm and doesn't take up too much counter space. However, the carafe has a leaky seal where the black part meets the stainless steal part and therefore every time we pour coffee, it leaks all over the place. It also seems to leak while it's brewing for the same reason. Slightly disappointed as I came on here and saw other reviews with the same issue. Probably would not recommend this product as it seems that our issues are not a one time thing and it is a design flaw.

I just bought it yesterday and the carafe lid is broken. Can’t find a replacement lid!
