Great Hot Coffee

We finally replaced our old, very basic Mr. Coffee maker, and this one is far superior. It brews much hotter with no steam like the former maker. I love the thermal carafe, it keeps coffee hot for a long time without any energy like the hot plate. Set up and time delay is easy. Occasionally the maker drips if I take the carafe away before it is finished brewing, then I just rinse out the coffee holder very well and it stops again. A great product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love it but frustrated and looking for answers.

Over the years we have purchased five of these coffee makers - four for home and one for office. Love the speed of the brewing, ease of filling the water reservoir, taste of coffee and the stainless steel cafe BUT each of the units have leaked with coffee spilling under the unit, all over the counter and has stained the grout on the kitchen wall. I would understand if we had not emptied the cafe. But these leaks have occurred with empty cafes. There is definitely a design flaw. We have spent too much money for a reoccurring flaw. Hopefully the support staff will see this post and contact me. I’ll happily send the unit back to them to figure out why this occurs. I know we are not the only ones to have these experiences.

Best Drip Coffee Maker

We have had this unit for just over a year, but owned the exact same model for over 10 years before it croaked. The two main highlights are the insulated carafe which keeps coffee hot and fresh (does not boil it down into driveway patch like hot-plate warmer units), for hours. The second highlight is related to the first….no hot-plate to worry about. If you reheat this coffee in the microwave 10 hours later, it still tastes fresh as it was not cooked down to a sludge by a hot-plate. BTW….if you do not insure the carafe is pushed all the way in, the drip trigger on the brew basket will not engage and flood the brew basket and overflow coffee and grounds all over the place….a real mess….but that is operator error!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Stainless Carafe

I have had this coffee maker for just over a year. I don't make a lot of coffee. The carafe has started to leak on the outside, where the plastic and the stainless meet. It has not been dropped and has been always been hand washed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Carafe lid stopper does not work right

Coffee does not stay hot due to little stopper in the lid staying open. It seems like it should close unless pouring but the stopper drops down when carafe is in upright position and lets out all the heat.
We only purchased for the thermal carafe and it is disappointing to have coffee cool down so fast.

Reservoir leaks?

I bought one two years ago and lost it in a breakup, so just bought one for myself. Setting it at night on this new one is pointless, the reservoir leaks and by morning there was water all over the counter and no coffee! Any way to fix this?
