Horrible - extremely weak coffee

I bought this product 4 days ago, and it brews the weakest, most watery coffee I have ever experienced. Half the grounds were completely dry after the brew cycle, using 8 cups of water. I have tried everything...leveling the coffee grounds, using a different grind, different coffee-to-water ratio, different brands of coffee, filtered water, etc. Nothing works. I am extremely frustrated and just want a full refund so I can buy another brand of coffee maker that works properly. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product.

The thermal carafe does not work!!!

I Bought it for the thermal carafe, thinking it would keep my coffee hot for the day. It does NOT!! I am so disappointed and don’t think I will buy a Mr,Coffee again

leaking decanter

I just started using this coffee maker on Feb 4, 2021. The Thermal decanter leaks every time I pour a cup of coffee. It leaks out where the stainless steel bottom meets top part with the handle.

Poor quality

I bought this coffee maker for my husband for Christmas. He was not thrilled about it but he was using it. About the first week in February he went to make coffee and smoke started pouring out of it. I wouldn't recommend this coffee maker to anyone.

Use to love

About a year ago I had to buy a replacement for our Mr Coffee PSTX series. That one lasted a long time. So I got another one. Not sure what they changed but the decanter on this one does not keep the coffee hot. When I pour my second cup I already have to warm it in the microwave so it is hot coffee.
We clean it per instructions. Disappointed it does not work as well as our previous one.

Be careful with experimenting with different grind

i generally use Maxwell House brand or grind my own and the coffee maker is fine. But i tried a finer grind done by Folgers and the coffee basket ended up filling with water as it did not pass through. No warning in the owner's manuel about what type of grounds to use.

Love this coffee maker

Been using this for two months now and couldn’t be happier. Brews quickly, and makes a solid cup of coffee. Best part-the carafe keeps the coffee hot for a long period of time, without the bitter taste. PS-no leaking issues.
I would recommend this to a friend!
