We love this machine!

We have had this machine for almost 2 years now and use it daily...sometimes for multiple pots of coffee. It has never leaked on us. Just minutes to get a fresh pot of coffee and love the insulated carafe. If Mr Coffee ever discontinues this model, I hope I get a heads up so I can purchase a second machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quick brew, doesn't stay hot.

My husband bought me this. I always research a product and would not have bought it. Brews really fast but the carafe doesn't stay hot like my son's who bought his on-line and was only $20.00 more than this one. I drink too much coffee to have it go cold so quickly.

The metal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours. The appliance allows me to set a delay function.

Carafe leaks

Had for 2 weeks. The carafe started to leak at seam where the stainless steel meets the plastic top. I liked it otherwise. Kept coffee hot for long time. Would have been a 5 star.

Keeps coffee hot for awhile

I noticed that it is starting to brew much slower..7 minutes and 29 sec for a 10 cup cycle..it used to brew alot faster. I ran the clean cycle monthly and seems to not work. Don't know what else to do.

Leaks straight from the box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Optimal brew PSTX as a gift and was excited because we've used mr coffee products in the past with no issue. However this one was leaking straight away. We doubled checked everything, and tried several times. It was leaking from holes on the bottom of the device. A little of water went through to the pot but most went straight until my countertop. No matter how much or little water we used some thing. Haven't been able to use this one time even. Soooo disappointed.

Bad carafe seal

Purchased my second Mr Coffee maker recently and it only took 1 week for the stainless steel carafe to leak water out the plastic/ss joint.
The rubber seal inside must allow small amount of water into the vacuum area and when the i asks heats up when hot coffee is filling up, it will draw the water up and out of the side of the pot. Leaving puddles, stains and irritation.
Previously the one from 2 years ago did the same thing. Was hopeful this would be fixed. Time for a new style or brand
