We have had other Mr Coffees and this is by far the best. The thermal carafe keeps coffee hot for about 3 hours without continuing to cook.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Reservoir leaks and coffee tastes like plastic

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have only had this machine for a few days and I have cleaned it several times and can't get the plastic taste to go away. I expected a great machine because of the name brand but sadly it's junk. You can't stand the taste of plastic and it's reservoir leaks. I'm not getting a full 10 cups out of it no matter what I do and there's no way for me to fix the leak. I expected more for the money I spent. I suppose I will go to another brand if I don't get help from Mr Coffee. The optical brew has been a terrible experience and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at all.

We bought ours about a month ago. We are very pleased with our purchase. The thing we like best is the carafe because it keeps the coffee warm for at least two hours and more.

Excellent coffee maker

Makes a great cup of coffee. I love the speed of brewing. The thermal pot is super. I love the control panel and features like the cleaning cycle. I have used many different coffee makers. This is by far my favorite.

It Explodes!

I have experienced my 3rd total explosion of water, coffee grounds and excess steam blowing out the back onto my cabinets. It takes an hour to clean this mess up and clean the pot not to mention the loss of a pot of coffee. There is some flaw somewhere that needs to be fixed. I like the sink filled water chamber but it comes with a price.
I like the taste of the coffee from this coffee maker. The coffee maker is really beautiful, and I leave it out on the counter because of its good looks. It is easy to use. I would have given it 5 stars, but only gave it 4 stars because the water well is narrow. You have to fill it carefully, otherwise, its easy to spill water elsewhere.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I LOVE THE COFFEE MAKER AND THE COFFEE REALLY GETS HOT AND MAKES COFFEE FAST. I DO HAVE A PROBLEM THOUGH WHEN I GO TO EMPTY THE FILTER THE GROUNDS HAVE RUN OVER ALL IN THE BASKET AND I HAVE A BIG MESS AND A FEW GROUNDS END UP IN THE COFEE. WHAT'S UP WITH THIS.

We love this coffee maker! My only complaints are that the LED clock is so dim that I can't see it on the brightest setting and the low setting is totally black. Also, it's difficult to clean the carafe because you can't get your hand down inside of it and the gasket on the lid disappeared. We have no idea when it came off. It still works, but leaks when you pour if you're not careful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
