Poor performance and life

Bought this for our RV late last summer, liked the configuration, detachable water tank and thermal carafe. Found that much more coffee was needed in the basket to make the brew strong enough for good taste but otherwise it was fine. Used twenty times at most, insured it was empty and clean for winter storage and upon first use this year the tank drained 9/10ths of the water out on the counter over 10 minutes - Brew cycle NOT on. Hope this gets posted, people need to know.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Every thing is great

This is the best coffee maker I have ever had and I have tryed a lot of different ones I like the idea of the water container and putting the ground on the side. All of the other ines my husband constantly pouring the water all over all in water not always in the right spot so then it leaked out and all over and then he would always put coffee ground all over inside every where now he can't I love it Thank You for making a great product

No lasting power

We are on our 2nd Mr Coffee of this model. We love the fast brewing time, the taste - even of cheap coffee, the thermal carafe (which keeps the coffee hot & full-flavored for a good while and the overall look and function of it BUT..........we now have to replace it again and , sadly, will consider another brand. Our current pots' cleaning light comes on every couple of days, the cleaning cycle is malfunctioning and the brew cycle will not complete. Our previous one stopping brewing one day after only about 1 1/2 years - the 2nd one not much longer. We are good to and with our appliances and think these should/would last longer than 1 to 2 years. I really want another one of this model but an wary that there's an inherant problem with the inner workings of this model.

Not so awesome

I've had this coffee maker a couple months, and started noticing that it never completely empties out the water from the lines! I ran a clean cycle yesterday, with vinegar following exact directions, and made 6 cups afterwards (turned out delicious). However! I turned the whole unit upside down today, and this is how much water drained out and all that nasty black stuff was floating in the water line inside. It's only been used once since the clean cycle! Now I'm scared to use the maker not knowing what's going to end up in my coffee
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are very satisfied with our new Coffeemaker. We had it for a month now and it has exceeded our expectations. The coffee stays hot for a long time and we've had no problems with the machine itself. Glad we went this route for our new coffeemaker.
