DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

IT LEAKS....The first machine leaked. The replacement LEAKED. NO it's not user error. It's a poor quality coffee maker. Each unit leaked from a different part of the machine. Coffee either brewed weak or leaked. Very disappointed. Customer service good about replacing the coffee-maker with another one - however it's a faulty machine so you get more of the same. The reviews on this website are AWFUL. Few better than 3 stars. DON' T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Unfortunately for me my husband bought this for me and threw away the receipt, box and instructions before I saw it so I'm stuck with it. Coffee luke warm within 1/2 hr, unless I boil water first, water tank is not easy to hold, and carafe is not easy to clean(need bottle brush). Wishing my old standard Mr. Coffee hadn't died.

Favorite coffee maker to date!

We bought this coffee maker 3 months ago and love it. My only problem with the maker is that when we emptied out the grounds a few weeks ago the charcoal filter that is in the top of the grounds tray must have fallen out and went unnoticed into the trash. I have been trying to find the correct replacement filter for it but am not having any luck. I have bought two Mr Coffee replacement filters and neither fit properly and won't stay in the lid of the coffee gounds tray. Like I said, we love this maker and will continue using it and looking for filters that work.

Great Coffee Maker but Cheaply Made

I bought this coffee maker 2 years ago. I had to exchange the first one because the basket came broken. At first it was a great coffee maker - it brews very fast, makes very hot coffee that tastes delicious, and the thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for hours and without burning it. However, the vacuum in the first carafe became compromised after about a year. I thought it was something I did while cleaning so I just replaced the carafe (directly from Mr. Coffee). I treated the second with extreme care and only cleaned with vinegar (no brush). Now that one has a compromised vacuum too which means it won't keep the coffee hot. Over time, the digital display has faded to the point where I cannot read it anymore. You cannot read the time, set the timer, etc. So while the design is pretty good and it starts out being a winning coffee maker, it appears you'll have to start replacing items after not too long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Problem with pause feature...

I have bought this model previously and is my current model as well.... But the auto pause feature on this one does not worn if you remove pot while brewing it can leak coffee out the machine and make quite a mess....was there a defect in the newer model.. Ty

Thermal Carafe does not keep coffee hot

The coffee works fine, it makes good tasting coffee. The problem is only the first cup will be hot, after about 20 minutes it is just warm. Have to stick my coffee in the microwave to heat it to drink. Already tried the suggestion to warm the thermal pot with hot water prior to making coffee, didn't help at all. Maybe it is defective? Have never put it in the dishwasher, as a matter of fact it has been like this since day one.

Great Coffee Maker

Had this for about a year, 2 or 3 pots a day. Such freshness and is very hot too.Use less coffee , I guess because it is so hot requires a little less coffee grounds.Almost always entire pot is drank because it does not scorch coffee as it sits as other pots do with burner.I have had cheap makers , 2 B*nns, Black and *****, to my experience this one is the best so far. I dont mess with the program feature, just the clean cycle.
