Thermal Carafe keeps the coffee fresh!

This is great love the 10 cup capacity. The thermal carafe is great. This is replacing an old one with a thermal carafe. The ease of filling the unit with water and coffee grounds is so easy and you don't have to move the unit to use it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little maker

I have been using this style of coffee maker since 2009. The main reason is the thermal carafe doesn’t scorch the coffee and turn it bitter like hot plate varieties do. I wanted something I could brew coffee in and then take to work. I’m lazy, and uncoordinated in the morning so pouring into a thermos was out of the question. I bought this particular one in 2012, and use it at least once a day. This lil guy is perfect. I brew at 6:30am and the coffee stays drinkable until around 10. When first brewed, the coffee is super-hot so I had an ice cube or two. The removable water tank is great. It allows me to fill up the tank without spilling water all over the counter. The timer works fine. All in all, this is one of the best home use coffee makers for the price.
Never had a problem with pouring. There is button on the lid that you must push down when pouring, this allows the coffee to flow out easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

WEAK coffe

I bought this about a month ago and it brews VERY weak coffee. I've even added extra scoops to no avail. I do like the chlorine filter but almost every good brewer includes a filter these days. EXTREMELY disappointed. Had I not thrown out the box I would return it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Design, but clock/timer doesn't work

I bought this coffee maker about a year ago and really like the design for undercounter. It works fine, but the clock started going dim and now it isn't visable at all! Thus now I can't use the timer since you can't see it. I have an old drip Mr Coffee at work and the timer still works on it and it is probably 8 years old! Very, very disappointed in the quality considering this was not the cheapo model. Not worth the money if it is going to last less than a year. Mr. Coffee, you need to come to my house every morning and start the brewer......

Steam issue

I received an IS series (new in box) Mr. Coffee as a gift. It creates a massive amount of steam as it is brewing and the water seems to evaporate before it can make a full pot. I put 10 cups of water in the reservoir and end up with 1 or 2 cups of very strong coffee when the brewing cycle ends. My overhead cabinet is dripping with condensation. Is there a solution for this?

This is very easy to remove, simply brew white household vinegar through your coffee maker by following the instructions in your manual. Not disappointed at all

Very good brewer. I retired my 23 Mr Coffee for this new one (Christmas gift). After 9 months of use, I am still very happy with it. I would buy this as a gift for someone else.

Best coffee maker I have ever owned

I've had this coffee maker for well over a year now and it works flawlessly. The carafe keeps the coffee hot for several hours without preheating. It tells me when to clean it. It brews a whole pot in minutes. It's quiet, except for some gurgling at the end, which happens for all drip makers I've ever used. Finally, the coffee is great. I grind my beans right before brewing, and I use filtered water. I am totally satisfied and I recommend this maker without hesitation.
