We like brewing into a carafe because the coffee stays fresh. It makes great tasting coffee, very hot, like we love it. It's prefect, easy to understand and program.

Reliable & cost effective.

After busting the glass caraffe at work, I purchased one of these (Bob-Proof caraffe). We've used it in the office for greater than a year, now. It just works well. So, I bought a second one for my Mother who cannot see (blind since childhood), because of the convenience of the resavoire. Goodness... I cannot spell well. Sorry, but no spell check in this field, & I feel way too lazy to write this in another program. Anyhoo... This item is great for her.
1) Shatterproof caraffe
2) No burner element (& no scalded coffee)
3) Well insulated caraffe that keeps coffee hot/warm for an entire eight hour shift.
4) Did I mention: No burner element &, therefore, less fire hazard from forgetting to turn the thing off for the weekend.
5) Easily removable, wide opened resavoire (sorry for the spelling there) that allows the user to get the water straight from the source without the threat of spilling water all over the place.
6) Aesthetic pleasing
7) It has an independent cleaning feature that holds the cleaning solution to allow for proper soaking & whatnot.
8) Very few buttons & user friendly
9) Coffee's not bad, either
10) Relatively inexpensive

I bought this coffee maker 8 months ago. Had an older version that quit working after years of service. Very happy with this product. Quickly makes hot coffee and the thermal carafe keeps it hot for hours. I like the clean indicator light. Reminds me to do it. No problems at all.

We have two of these coffee makers. The coffee is hot every time. The reservoir is removable so it's easy to fill, even under a counter that has a low cupboards overhead. The lid of the reservoir sits on top and isn't hinged so there is no warping like we experienced with another brand we used. The filter basket is on the side and slides in and out easily. The pot is ergonomically designed and I like the shape of it. The company stands behind this produce and that means a lot to me as well. Superb!

Love the stainless steel carafe

We have had this coffeemaker for almost four years, and it makes delicious coffee that stays hot without that nasty overcooked taste you get with the glass carafe and warming plate.
On the down side, the clock light got dimmer and dimmer over the first year until it was out altogether. It still made excellent coffee, but timing coffee for the first pot of the morning became impossible. Hence four stars.
Sadly, our coffeemaker just quit after nearly four years of 2-3 pots/day, and yes, I am going to go buy another one of the same. The coffee is just that good.
