Convenient

My husband is the main coffee drinker here. We've had other brands and between our RV and home, have worn out 2 of the small old style Mr. Coffee makers over the years. We think this is the best coffee maker we've had. We like being able to take the tank to the water, rather than vice versa, and that he can carry the carafe to his woodworking shop, where all the other old guys hang out. That's why I ordered a second carafe...refills! The amount the consume is testimony that it is making good coffee.

I was looking for a basic coffee maker with a thermal carafe. I did buy a second carafe for when we have company. I don't have to measure water in something since the water holder comes right off. Easy to clean out coffee filter. I wasn't looking for a grinder, or any other bells or whistles and this fits the bill perfectly.

The wemo app works great. reminds us if we forget to set the maker for the next morning, if we don't have enough water, tells us when coffee is ready - not more that you want or need from an app. coffee is great. 2 areas of improvement... 1. some level indicator on craft, partial glass door or glass option to see how much coffee is left. 2. better cleaning option for craft. says it cant go in dishwasher, and small opening at top make hand cleaning difficult.

I bought this coffeemaker less than three months ago and have bought Mr. Coffee products exclusively for fourty years. Although this coffeemaker makes great coffee and I love the removable water reservoir I am having problems with the cleaning light. It will not stay off. After cleaning it comes back on right after the next pot of coffee I brew. This seems to be a common problem, I find it annoying.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best coffee maker we have had in many years

We are very happy with our new Mr. Coffee and it is a great value. Brew time is about 5 minutes for 7 cups with great flavor. Very easy to clean everyday plus it tells you when it needs to be cleaned after 80 or so pots of coffee. We have a RO water supply so we do not use the water filter that can be used if your water needs it. My wife likes regular coffee and I like Decaf so we bought at the same time another thermo coffee pot for about $15. Great buy. We enjoy the coffee maker very much and glad we bought it.

Terrible Coffee Maker

My boyfriend got this for me as a gift for my birthday. The concept is nice and all but note that it requires twice the amount of coffee grounds to make a cup of coffee equivalent in strength to that made with a normal machine. This is an effect of faster brew time, but I'll take the extra 2 minutes of brewing time if that means I don't have to spend twice the amount of money on coffee. Also, the coffee doesn't come out warm, not piping hot like it should be. Very unsatisfied with this purchase, especially considering how much money my boyfriend spent on it.

Looks good - doesn't keep coffee warm

I bought this one because I liked the look of it and it matched my kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, the carafe does not keep the coffee warm, so I gave it away and bought another coffee pot.

Doesn't work

I bought this two weeks ago and it brews inconsistently. Machine does not get all of the grounds wet all the time resulting in weak coffee. This will be returned.
