I think it needs a warming plate the thermal carafe keeps it kinda hot but I think it would be even better with a warming plate

My family hasn't had this for very long yet, but we love it so far! I recommend running a few cycles of water through before making the first batch of coffee. I love the removable water tank and the thermal carafe. The carafe keeps coffee hot for hours and eliminates the problem of coffee with a burnt or stale taste. This is a great machine and light years better than our old coffeemaker! So glad I bought it!

Great appliance with a few quirks.

Even though my first one only last just past the warranty I chose to buy another because it makes great coffee. The first one started leaking at the base of the water reservoir. I have had the second for about 6 months and the light on the clock went out so you can't see the time to set for delay brew. Anyone know a fix for this?

I just purchased this unit after looking at a lot of reviews of many different products. Stumbled upon this unit and fell in love with its looks! Also love the side fill water tank and the side basket for the coffee. I always hated having to pull my coffee maker out beyond my upper cabinets to use it. This unit can be used sitting right next to the wall! Coffee delay brew worked perfect. The coffee tasted great and was acceptably hot when I tasted it two hours later. Overall, I recommend this unit to anyone who wants a fresh new look and also wants an insulated stainless carafe rather than the usual glass. The quality of the carafe is not flimsy. The stainless looks high end. Other units have a touch of stainless and the rest is black. With this unit it looks like it costs more, but it doesn't! Love it! The only other item I wish it had was two travel mugs that fit in the brew ports so I can brew straight to a mug.

This coffee maker makes a very good coffee that doesn't get that burned taste after sitting for an hour on the warmer. For safety reasons, I really like that five minutes after you turn it on, it automatically shuts off, so you do not have to worry about a electric heater remaining on indefinitely/

We go through a lot of coffee makers in our office and this is by far the best. So good I bought one for my house and had another one sent to my mom. Makes the coffee super fast, coffee doesn't burn sitting in the thremal container, easy to operate, has this water filter thing Etc......

Makes good coffee but....

But after owning this unit for about a year, the timer display is starting to diminish in brightness. I thought I pushed the "Dim" button, but that made it to the point where I could barely see the display. And also, the measuring is not true cups. I thought I was getting an actual 10 cup coffee brewer. I was wondering why when I put water to the 4 level marker, I was getting a little over 2 cups of coffee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We apologize for the trouble you're having with your coffee maker. One cup of coffee is equal to 5 fluid ounces. This is the industry standard as all of our competitors have also used 5 fluid ounces. Please make sure to fill the water reservoir using your decanter instead of a standard measuring cup. If your water reservoir exceeds the max fill line, water will leak out of the back of the coffee maker. Everything I expected! I read reviews saying the coffee didn't stay hot long enough, but I haven't had that problem. My wife, who rarely drinks coffee, had a cup this morning and commented on how fresh and crisp it tasted. Only drawback is that the hopper tends to get grounds in it and I have to rinse it after dumping the used filter out. No biggie though!
