Good coffee!

We just purchased this coffee maker and it made good coffee. The design of the unit is very nice, but the stainless panels on the front of the housing are flimsy and the one we bought has a ding that must have happened during the factory assembly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

i have purchased 3 of these. 2 as gifts. the reason is that it brews at a temp higher than 180f. the thermal carafe is an excellent feature. if u condition it with hot water letting it stand for at least a minute then brew it , it will stay piping hot for more than a couple of hours. i do an 8 cup vinegar brew every 1st of the month.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. When you fill the carafe with hot water prior to brewing, it does not warm up due to the fact of the vent hole that never closes on the lid. Also when you pull out the filter assembly to put in the coffee grounds, it is very unstable. It does not sit level making it hard to work with.

I got this model for Christmas from my husband , I absolutely love the it, except the clock lite has gone real dim . I realize it has a dim button an I push it to dim it goes almost out. When I first set it up the clock light was bright. Is this a manufacturer defect??
