Love the machine hate the smell.

The machine works fine and I do like it, but the reservoir has a musty smell to it. It's getting pretty bad. I have done the vinegar thing when the pot calls for the cleaning cycle and many times in between. I can't imagine this being good for you.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Horrible Tasting Coffee!

Great looking machine. Appears well designed, easy to use. BUT, makes horrible tasting coffee!? How can this be? Brand new machine, horrible coffee. Terrible taste. If I were to guess, the machine does not heat the water to high enough temperature to actually get the greatest taste/yield from the ground coffee. Big disappointment, but what I'd expect from the "Mr. Coffee" brand. It just looked good, but it isn't in practice. Even after a month of use, no change.

Love the removable water reservoir

We’ve had this coffee maker for about 2 years. I got it to replace our old Mr Coffee thermal carafe which was too tall for our new kitchen. My hands down favorite part is the removable water reservoir. I can have it filling in the sink while the beans grind. The place in the maker without spilling a drop of water all over the counter. The carafe eliminates the need to pour the coffee into a thermos so I can take it to work. We have two carafes which comes in handy for large family gatherings and when my husband is working swing shift. A lot of people are saying this brews “cold” coffee. This coffee brews hot. So hot I burn my tongue unless a few ice cubes are added. We used a thermometer to see how it got and multiple times it came out in the 200-210 range, which is just below boiling. The coffee steams when poured into my cup hours later.
I can't wait to drink coffee now when I wake up knowing I can program it with my phone it is ready with a push of a cell app!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Coffee Maker, Bad coffee grounds basket

I have brewed 10-15 times and the auto valve on the bottom of the basket has broken already. I will have to order a new basket. The coffee maker is great so I really hope Mr. Coffee comes up with a better design.

Carafe keeps coffee hot for hours.

Bought this about a month ago and am happy with it so far. Had a slight crack in the lid to the carafe, but with one call, we quickly received a whole new carafe within 1 week.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fast Brewing!

I bought this as a gift for my dad last Christmas and it is such a great product! It brew really quickly! It only takes under two minutes to brew ten cups of coffee. The carafe also keeps the coffee really hot for many hours.
