Solid Engineering Meets Coffee Beans

Product works as intended. Thermos keeps coffee warm over hours of one's day which is a huge plus and allows the coffee to stay warm at the table side as well. Filter handler includes the monthly reminder to change the filter, also a nice amenity. Positive creative thinking went into the design of this product. Excellent engineering went into the concept for the water holder. The top is attached yet can be maneuvered so users never have to worry about losing the lid.
I have two minor suggestions to Mr. Coffee: 1) That the firm consider using alternative materials in the creation of the water retainer and top for I fear the day when the plastic rails that hold the lid in place should happen to break, and 2) the Water Filter instructions clearly say "4. Place the Mr. Coffee Water Filter in the brew basket, noting which side is up, as indicated on the water filter, and making sure the water filter is level." I don't know about you but I don't see any indication on my water filters from Mr. Coffee packaging that indicate on either side of the filter which side is considered "up".
Created photos of the filter packaging and instructions along with the filter however your "Add Photo" feature of this comments page was not working properly and would not properly upload even a single photo of the six I took for your benefit. Bring in the web designers! Hope the information is helpful.

NOTE: THIS REVIEW IS FOR AN OFFICE SITUATION (9 coffee drinkers) not the 'home' situation the review concentrates on. That said - Our office was having trouble with folks using almost all the coffee in the carafe and then leaving it on the warming plate - with it still on. After happening multiple times, we opted for this model. It is a LOT faster brew time than our old drip pot, and the coffee stays tasting Much better (no 'old' taste). And, no more fire hazard problems. We really like it and are glad we bought it. The reason for the four stars (and I don't actually see anyway around this) is that we can't tell when someone has used the last of the coffee - since you can't see in the pot. Small problem, and we just now set the carafe to the side of the pot if we've used the last of it and don't make more.

I love this coffee maker from a Bunn to Mr Coffee

I have saved so much on cost of coffee grounds. In my Bunn I used 4 scoops of coffee to make it taste like coffee. I loved Bunn most of my life. I'm 50 so it's a long time. Lol... I got sick of the clogging up the spill overs it did and buying 3 cans of coffee a week. So my husband wanted to buy a new Bunn. We go to Walmart to buy another Bunn. The last one was 2 years old. I say let's try something different. My dad had a Mr Coffee for years and lived it. So I buy this Mr Coffee brew with thermal pot. Love the design looks beautiful in my kitchen.we start it up. And omg.... we put 11/3 same scoops of coffee to make even a better tasting coffee. It's hot stays hot for hours without burner burnt coffee taste, it will still taste as fresh as you made it fresh. It makes almost as fast as Bunn. But it also has a timer I love. By the time I make it start it go to bath rm. In morning go back to Mr Coffee I can steel a cup without a spill. By the time I drink that cup it's done. Yummy yum.
Great coffee maker. I've cut my coffee bill and my electric bill in more than half using Mr Coffee. So thank you Mr Coffee and all you employees for making a great coffee maker easy to use and brews great tasting coffee and you saved literally a lot if money for me. Great work you all. I'm very thank full.

My wife wanted this one because it would look good with her all stainless kitchen, as it was Mr. Coffee and we had many of that brand over the years and knew this company takes care of their customers I agreed. This is the best one.
