Leaks water every brew.

We purchased this brewer about two weeks ago and it leaks all over the counter and under the insulated coffee pot!! The leaks are coming from the coffee maker and not from the pot!!
Looks like we have a lemon too! I would NOT recommend this brewer!!

Thanks for contacting Mr. Coffee®. We are sorry to hear that your coffee maker is leaking. This is certainly not the experience we want you to have. No worries, we are here to help. For a possible fix, please check the hose in the reservoir, make sure it is snug on connection. Also, check the filter basket for any drips down the back of the basket onto the trip arm and warming plate. Ensure to use medium grounds and make sure that the water is not exceeding the max line in the water reservoir. Lastly, please run a cleaning cycle into it if the machine hasn't been cleaned recently.

An Accident waiting to happen

Do not buy this coffeemaker or the 40 oz. one cup either. . All the water does not perk. It stays in the coffeemaker and it will eventually overflow and could cause a problem, burn someone or cause a fire.. I have had three sent to me and they all do the same thing. The water stays in the unit. If you shake it you can hear the water and if you turn it over on it's side or upside down you will see all the water poring out after the coffee maker stops. It is very dangerous and if someone can tell me where to report this I will.

Tastes like coffee should

Coffee brews quickly, is hot and stays hot. This is the way coffee is supposed to taste. It doesn't lose it's flavor after setting for awhile like my other coffee makers.

I really like this coffee maker. Finally, a coffee maker that delivers a near-boiling hot cup of joe! There is one bad thing... the valve on the brewbasket breaks off far too easily.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Easy and Fast

Super easy to use. Like the fact that water reservoir lifts out for filling (you don't have to fill the carafe). Coffee just the right temperature when brewed, I wonder why so many want flavorless, scalding hot coffee (?). Clock a little difficult to set, would like to see more simple controls, but I really don't use the clock for brewing or time-keeping. I do like the fact that carafe has tight fitting lid and easy push button pouring feature for spill-proof dispensing. Love this coffee maker!

I bought this a year ago....................coffee tastes great, extremely hot right out of the carafe, I do NOT have to put hot water in carafe first----I love HOT coffee, & I usually have to let my coffee sit a few minutes in order to drink it---I don't understand the others comments stating it is not hot, even if I let it sit overnight, the coffee is still warm, not hot but warm.............love - love - love it !!!!!!!

My coffee pot was about 10 months old. On the third cleaning, an usual high pitched squeal emitted during the cleaning and no matter what, wouldn't stop. A call to the number suggested in the instruction brochure lead me to a very kind service representative who not only was helpful but spoke English. Imagine that! He said that he would replace the coffee pot, free of charge and it would arrive within 6-10 business days which it did. We are extremely pleased!
