some problems but still good

I have had this coffee maker for 2 years. The screen has always been dim, very hard to see and the clock loses time BUT I really don't use the clock feature, so this isn't a big deal to me. It brews just fine keeps coffee hot for about 1.5 hrs and even after 4 hours the coffee is slightly warm. I'm happy with it but if you really big on programming a brew time and being able to see the clock I'd pass.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a good value

The "Delay Brew" function seems to be inoperative. The taste of the coffee varies by type of coffee. The product quality is not very good for the price. I wish I had kept shopping rather than buying this maker.

Not hot enough.

We have had this coffeemaker for several months. The coffee has been getting steadily cooler as time progresses. This morning I had to warm my cup in the microwave after it had just brewed. It's too bad there isn't a temperature control.

We are sorry to hear that your BVMC-PSTX91 is not producing hot coffee for you. Be sure that the unit is plugged into a working outlet. When initially setting up the coffeemaker, it is necessary to wait at least 20 minutes to allow the water in the internal tank to reach the ideal brewing temperature. When brewing consecutive pots of coffee, it is necessary to wait 10 minutes in between to allow the water in the internal tank to reach the ideal brewing temperature. Be sure that the Warmer Plate Switch has been switched to "ON" (SB11 ONLY ). Be sure that the Reservoir Power Switch has been switched to "ON". IF the above suggestions do NOT resolve your problem, please contact us at 1800-672-6333. Thank you for your feedback.

I liked this coffee pot at first but it only took a few months before the lining started to come off of the inside of the thermal pot. Keep an eye on the inside of yours.

Brew not "Optimal"

I love the look, style and ease of this coffee maker. I just am so disappointed in the flavor of my coffee. I was surprised not to see more about this in the reviews, so maybe I 'm alone on this. Our last coffee maker was a Mr. Coffee and I loved it. I like a strong, bold flavor to my coffee and because this one brews so quickly, it does not pick up the flavor from the grounds. My coffee tastes like water. I always us exactly the same coffee and I have it ground on the same setting. We will be looking into a return for this one.

Leaker!!!!

After caring for this overrated coffee maker using vinegar and the cleaning cycles. The Optimal Brew leaves behind unwanted water pools on my granite counter top. Ive had cheaper makers that do a better job without the mess!
