Extra features not worth extra money

The coffee maker looks very nice and works well. I'm not sure the Bluetooth function is worth the extra expense. I set it to program every morning and I never used the app again. I was also disappointed that it was only a 10-cup carafe. I would expect a 12-cup with a machine this size. Unless you need to brew coffee remotely a lot then this's home has no advantages over a programmable coffee maker. I received this product as a sample for testing.

Poor Design?? Defective? Lack of quality control?

What a mess! Buyer beware. Hang on to your receipt.
Coffee leaks every time we use, so much so we have to clean our kitchen counters after every use. Leaks between transfer from basket to thermal pot. We have tried positioning pot differently, placing something underneath pot, coarser grinds of coffee, and different filters, whew!!!
This product is headed for the trash can. A piece of junk. No more Mr. Coffee products in our household.
Note:
We have been using this device for about 5 weeks. I've had enough, it's going into the trash can. I would not even thinking about 'donating" to Goodwill. Will not pass on this problem to someone else.

Good coffee, bad part!

We love this coffeemaker. It makes delicious coffee & the carafe has kept coffee warm until the next morning! However, I am disappointed that the control panel light did not last more than 18 months. Obviously, this is an integral part of this machine.

I love this coffee maker. It is very easy to setup, use and clean. My favorite feature of the coffeemaker is that I can start it no matter where I am at. I have started it on my way home from a soccer game on a chilly morning. When you use the schedule it sends a push notification to tell you that your coffee is ready. If you have visitors they can make coffee without the app by just pressing the button. I have received this product as a sample to review. I have loved every single use of this coffeemaker.

Horrible plastic taste

Purchased this a month ago and, like other coffeemakers I've purchased over the years, this one had an awful smell coming out of the box. Followed the manufacturer's directions, plastic smell still there.
Ran a few more water-only cycles and still the plastic smell was still there.
Ran a few cleaning cycles, following manufacturer directions, plastic smell still there.
Ran a few pots of coffee through, plastic smell and taste still there.
I know that plastic smell can't be good. Returning to the store. If i could give this zero stars, I would.

Mr.Coffee falls way short on this product

WARNING: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT...The spring loaded flow stop feature of this PSTX brew basket falls apart. The o-ring and stopper flies apart when the basket is washed. Both are difficult to see and thus difficult to find after they fly apart. In order to get alittle life out of this product you have to handle it as though it was made out of crystal. The Mr. Coffee company does not allow you to buy the o-ring itself, instead you have to purchase the whole brew basket. Check the Mr. Coffee site yourself to see what I mean. LET THE BUYER BEWARE.

Really great tasting coffee.

The advantages of this coffeemaker are:
1) The coffee has a much better flavor than my old Mr. Coffee.
2) The thermal carafe keeps the coffee warm enough for another hour after the heater turns off.
3) The water reservoir is removable for filling at the sink rather than pouring a carafe of water into the coffeemaker.
4) The water stops perking into the grounds when the pot is removed, so the filter basket doesn't overflow water and grounds.
The drawbacks of this coffeemaker are:
1) The carafe is too small. Changing from a 12-cup to 10-cup means making 1 1/2 pots each morning.
2) The coffee filter holder doesn't sit flat, and with the attached flip up water filter it is hard to empty without getting grounds on the filter.
3) There is no indicator on the carafe as to how much coffee is left, so I have on more than one occasion forgotten to empty the carafe before starting a new pot.
4) Will not restart the heater to keep the coffee warm another 2 hours. There must be water in the reservoir to turn it on.

Very Disappointed in my Thermal Coffeemaker :(

I've bought this coffeemaker about 5 months ago & the second time I used it the clean light came on. I thought maybe if I ran the clean cycle it would help but then the second day after that it came back on again. I unplugged it & left it unplugged for several hours and before going to bed that night I reset it so that it would brew in the morning. Again, on the second day the clean light came back on again. It also doesn't keep the coffee very hot at all. I'm getting very frustrated with it & am sorry that I bought it.
