Love the concept but execution is suspect

I bought this yesterday. The steam from the machine is over the top, way too much plus when I put in 6 cups of water, I get one cup of coffee - the water is so hot it seems to be turning to steam. The clean button light is on all the time and there were two pots made in total. Something is seriously wrong with this machine

Product Optimal Brew Thermal Coffeemaker, 10-Cup

I bought this coffee maker and I love every feature about it except the thermal carafe. mr. coffee needs to team up with the genuine thermos company and have them to make the thermal carafe for this coffee pot and this would then be the perfect coffee pot. the
current carafe only keeps coffee hot for about an hour and if this were a genuine thermos carafe the coffee would probably stay hot all day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Looks great, flavor is lacking

After buying Mr. Coffee products for years, I was excited to try this coffee maker when my previous Mr. Coffee of 7 years stopped working. This newer model looks great on the countertop and I like the new features. However, I was very disappointed with the flavor of the coffee. While nice and hot, it was very diluted and had little taste. I used the same amount of coffee that produced a nice, full-bodied brew in my former maker. What happened to the "bold" option? I guess faster coffee does not equal better coffee.

weak coffee

had to replace my old Mr. Coffee machine. ended up purchasing this one. doesnt matter how much coffee I add coffee is always weak.

Coffee not hot enough after brewing

Mr. Coffee came out with a great design on this brewing system. Easy to use buttons, stylish, looks great in my kitchen. Easy to fill with water. The main problem is that the coffee isn't very hot right after brewing. In other words, you don't really see "steaming" coffee while pouring into your cup. It's average temperature, not bad, I can still drink it but PREFER it to be much hotter. Also, the round filter part that is suppose to snap close after turning it doesn't stay sometimes. I open the filter part to toss used grounds and sometimes see the filter laying in it. Otherwise, it's a great coffeemaker. I still love it.

Coffee doesn't stay hot and other issues

I bought this coffee maker about 6 months ago and I'm really starting to dislike it more and more. Not only does the thermal carafe not stay warm, when it needs to be cleaned it runs a high pitched sound, but wont let you brew coffee unless the clean cycle is finished. I'm very disappointed in this coffee maker.

Unfulfilled Promises

This is a very nice looking product which boasts a bevy of features, unfortunately it fails to deliver on many of these. This product makes a nice cup of coffee and does so in a timely manner. It is very well designed and is pleasing to the eye. The issue with this coffee maker is when it comes to the app and its functionality. It is very flaky, often failing to recognize the device. I would only recommend this product if planning to use it manually.

Clean this every 5 brews

I have had this coffee maker for a while, but rarely used it until my husband retired. I had used a 5-cup maker, and now needed a 10-cup maker. I thought this would be a solution. However, using regular tap water caused the maker to need cleaning every 5 brews instead of the 90 brews indicated in the user manual. That is 6 cups of vinegar every 5 days. And the coffee maker won't work until it is cleaned. I bought a filtered water pitcher for the water used in this coffee maker thinking this would help. Now I only have to clean it every 9 brews. I will be shopping for a new coffee maker when the current gallon jug of vinegar is gone.
