I purchased this brewer in April 2017 and after a month's usage, or thereabouts, it has been fantastic. My wife and I love that the coffee brews very quickly and tastes more flavorful than our old brewer we replaced.
This brewer stated that it heats the water to 205 degrees and I would believe that, as it comes out exceptionally fast and hot into the thermal carafe. This carafe is what makes all the difference to enjoying the coffee, as I am a slow coffee drinker and don't like the way old, burnt, stale coffee tastes after it's been on a hot plate for more than an hour in a glass pot.
Finally, the extra-nice touch is the removable water tank that I can then pour water in so much easier in the tight confines of my limited counter space. The removable reservoir makes it incredibly convenient to get the water in and back on the machine.
All in all, I feel this was an incredible purchase experience and other coffee brewers costing more than this for a 10-cup brewer with the speed, heat, and convenience of this brewer will be difficult, in my opinion, to justify purchasing.
Owned one of these for probably 5 or 6 years, and decided to replace it with the same model since the display on the original was too dim, and it started acting up a bit. This maker brews coffee very hot and fast!

I have owned this model coffeemaker for a few months. I have an ongoing problem with the coffeemaker leaking hot coffee after brewing; it pools on my countertop under the coffeemaker, 1-2 cups. I will be contacting the manufacturer.

I have this model for about five years or so, I love it. I agree with other respondents just use an organic/brown filter, no problems. Additionally, for those that found the carafe insufficient, heat up your carafe with hot water, cold carafe steals your delicious coffee warmth .

I have a Caregiver who is able to prepare my coffee the day before and set it for the next day if she is off. Also, the cleaning feature is so very helpful. And I like how the decanter doesn't get hot on the outside but the coffee stays warm.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a gift over 2 years ago, I was using a single cup coffee maker and decided to use this since I drink a lot of coffee. It works good but the light that shows the time is very dim. when you push the dim button it makes it almost to dark to see. is there a way to increase brightness

Water tank won't empty completely. There is still water in the tank even after it beeps saying that the coffee is ready. It never drains completely.
