I am disappointed

The steam mop I received leaves my floor dull and streaky, with some white deposits. My floor is vinyl. The mop does not move easily, and I don't know what to do. It's the only mop I have. Does not work properly. If I had the box the product would be returned. Please advise.

Thank you for your feedback. We can help you. Make sure not to linger too long in one place when spraying the steam. Also, the steam is cleaning, so it's bringing up old residue from past cleaners used. To remove the streaks, just take a dry cloth and vinegar and wipe the areas.

I want to write an honest review. I've used the product twice on wood flooring as well as a small 6 x 9 rug. The steam mop deluxe has worked well on both. So far I am satisfied with this product. If this changes in the future i will submit a revised review.

I have only ued the steam mop once, but I am very pleased with it. I was impressed on how easy it was to use and how it cleaned the floor. I dont mind washing the floor anymore. I hope it continues to work as well as it did the first time.

Cleanest floors I ever had

I have been using this steam mop for over 4 years. I lived in an apt with over 800 sq ft of tile. 1/2 gallon of water, 40 minutes of my time and they were SPOTLESS and sanitary. Muddy paw prints - gone. area rugs - refreshed. Only downside is the size/length of the little fingers on the mop head. A little longer to get into the grout groove would be nice.

I recently bought this unit thinking I was going to upgrade, since my other brand steam mop is on its last legs. First time with it the floors were too wet. The next time my kitchen floor still looked dirty and no shine. I realized that if you use the steam sparingly it does not pick up the dirt, and if you use more steam, it leaves the floors too wet, and dingy looking. My vinal floors are in excellent shape. I have tryed to use it several more times, but had to go over it a second time with my old steam mop. The pad is to thick and will not retain the dirt. Sorry Bissell...thumbs down on this one.

Thank you for your review. Perhaps pressing on the trigger just going forward will help. Then as you come backward release the trigger. It could be the way you are using the spray trigger that is causing too much water or not enough. We do have the PowerFresh Steam Mop that has a dial to control the amount of steam you spray. Leaves an odor!!

I have had my steamer for about 6 months now, everytime I use it, it puts a HORRIBLE odor (like cat urine) in the air that stinks up my whole house! I use distilled water..and my filter is not ready to be replaced. I am about to trash the thing unless there is something else I can do to get rid of this horrible odor!
