Cost effective

This is my second steem mop that I have purchased from Bissell. We have 5 grandbabies under the age of 6 and boy does the steem mop get used. I love the fact my floor is sanitized for the little ones that are crawling and the easy clean up for the sticky spills that sometimes happens from the older ones. My daughter-inlaw liked it so much she has even purchased one. For the price it is way more cost effective then using one of those desposible floor cleaning products. Great job Bissell.

the tank leaks

got my steam mop used it the frist time left a lot of water on the flood the tank leaks could not get it to stop leaking very disappionted sending it back.

I have had my Steam Mop for quite sometime, we use it regularly and have never experienced any issues. We have used it on a variety of surfaces; sealed hardwood, sealed slate and, tile. Always produces excellent results with minimal time and effort used. We have kept up with the necessary parts (water filter & cleaning pads) but have found that is minimal compared to the cost when new. Bissell has been extremely responsive to all requests for parts!

Used this mop until filter turned green, replaced filter and it hasn't worked since. It heats up, but doesn't emit steam. Complied with the troubleshooting in book, but still won't steam. I am furious that this piece of junk has only lasted a few months.

Thank you for your review. No worries; you have a one year warranty with us. If you need help with warranty see this link: http://www.bissell.com/email-us/ With no spray, make sure there is tension with the trigger, if not we recommend taking the handle back out and reassemble. The filter must be green and white; no dark color. Also, if you remove the foot; take a paper clip and ream the brass nozzle to clean. It could be just clogged.

I love this product on our wood floors and ceramic kitchen floor. Really cleans and removes stains with just water. I add a little eucalyptus water for a fresh smell. I use distilled water too. The mop pad gets very dirty and I put it in the laundry.
