I love everything about this floor cleaner but I wish it had a larger capacity water tank. It cleans my floors very well. My carpet perks right up too. No more musty odors because the steam kills off any mold or mildew in areas near doors and windows. The machine is easy to maintain. All the parts are easy to replace or remove for cleaning. I really like this product and plan to continue purchasing the Bissell brand in the future.

Love the mop, hate the smell.

I have read the reviews here and on other websites. I love this mop and have had no troubles with it, but overtime, there is a horrible, dog/dirty sock/fishy smell. Nothing so far has worked. I loved this product because it uses no chemicals and is Eco-friendly, but seriously thinking about changing to a new product. The smell is awful and embarrassing.

This is my 3rd purchase of the Deluxe Mop and it does a fabulous job on my wood, laminate and tile floors. I used the power fresh, the Shark - I was not happy at all. Bissell this is a great product !

Stopped Working - Hardly Used

Although I have had my unit for 2 years, I have used it less than 20 times. I always use distilled water and followed the directions to see if anything was clogged. It wasn't. To me it seems like the trigger on the handle stopped working since I can hear the water heating up. I'm sure it would cost more to repair than the unit initially cost. My mother bought one upon my recommendation - hers still works. (so far) Very disappointed.

I have used several different steam mops, this is the worst unfortunately I received this mop as a Christmas gift.. No there are no cracks.

We are sorry you are having problems with your steam mop ajmom. The unit shouldn't leak. You may want to look at the following areas after unplugging the machine from the outlet:
Filter
-Make sure the filter is securely pushed into the body of the unit and that there are no cracks anywhere on the filter.
- Ensure the thin black o-ring is attached at the bottom of the filter. If this is not present or if the filter is cracked, the filter needs to be replaced. If the o-ring is in place, check for deformity. BISSELL does not recommend using any product other than water in the tank. Products such as vinegar or other solutions will cause deformity of the o-ring.
- If the connector the o-ring attaches to is broken inside the receiver, this needs to be removed.
Tank
- Check the tank and cap insert for damage and to ensure the tank is securely pushed into place on the unit. If needed, a replacement cap insert assembly can be ordered online at this link, http://www.bissell.com/parts/?id=9143&sc=product&productid=3703&icid=ccrr

Deluxe Steam Mop & Vacuum

I have used 3-4 different Brand steam mops, they have not done the job like the Bissell. My floors have started to look like when they were laid 14 years ago. I have used 50% soft water and 50% vinegar with great success. I was thinking of using 50/50 of water and hydrogen peroxide to see if that would even be better. Let me know what your thoughts are. The only thing about ordering online with Bissell is that it is doesn't seem to be an easy task. I gave up on your website and I have been working with computers for over 40 years with much more complicated challenges. The other product we bought in the last 30 days was the 84G9 Bissell Vacuum with the rewind cord. 1st the vacuum is extremly loud and hurts our ears. 2nd the cord rewind works only if you hold on to the cord and feed it back into the rewinder. Then it stops 4-5 times, and you have to pull the cord to restart it again.

Please note, only water or our Eucalyptus Mint Scented Demineralized Water should be used in this machine. Other products used in this machine void the warranty and can harm the internal components.

We've had our Bissell hot mop for many years. It has worked perfectly since the day we bought it. We have all stone floors and the Bissell's ability to clean is fantastic. No problems of any kind. We have no hesitation in recommending it to someone. If you have a stone floor , the grout gets dirty and the mop really can't clean the grout. Use dishwashing soap and a stiff brush to return your floor to a magnificant state.
