Speaker durability

My boat is 2 years old and all four speaker covers have cracked and broken. The sound was great but they do not hold up to the sun. JBL needs to fix this product flaw.

Poor Quality of Speaker Grill

I have a 2015 Sea Hunt with 6 JBL 6250’s. Two of the six speaker grills have already cracked and the others are brittle. These speakers do not last in the Florida saltwater environment.

Excellent sound

I just made a full replacement to my sound system in pontoon boat. Placed four JBL
6520's under the seats with a JBL amp. The sound quality is excellent. The amount of bass is good for the size of the speaker. I was cautious when ordering these because of the negative reviews regarding the durability of the grill, however the plastic on the grill seems to be thick and durable overall. Time will tell.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't hold up in the salt

Bought a 2106 Sea Hunt in 2017. Boat is fitted with six of these speakers, the rear bottom 2 speakers - no sound. Pulled speaker to troubleshoot and the grill fell apart in my hands and revealed a tweeter completely corroded. No Bueno in the salt, look elsewhere for speakers.

Busted Speaker Grills

I have a 2016 Seahunt 25' Gamefish and the grills on 4 of the 6 speakers have fallen apart.

3 yr old boat with 6 of these speakers all now need replaced due to the grills falling apart. Contacted jobless and was told I needed to look into replacing my speakers. It’s a heck of a cost for 6 speakers that are only 3 years old. Not happy

Broken Grills

I purchased a 2016 Sea Hunt Ultra new with these speakers and have had 5 of 6 of the speaker grills break and literally deteriorate when you touch them. Not what I would expect from JBL

Grill shattered after three seasons.

I have these speakers on my 2017 Sea Hunt and I have shattered tow speakers just buy scuffing them with my foot. Not very happy for such a quality brand.
