What I have had a problem with is the text message freezing, and not being able to re-send without turning off phone completely.
Pros: Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, touch-screen
Cons: Did not meet expectations

Great for texting

The full keyboard is great for sending messages. The problems I have with the phone is it scrolls too fast & I can't figure out how to slow it down, and I don't know how to access all the features because of the owner's manual issue. I have been unable to access the owner's manual - I use a netbook without a CD drive, and it won't download from the website - so I don't know if there's a way to regulate the speed.
The camera works well. I can't expect it to produce pics as good as a 14mp one, but I didn't buy it for the "phenomenal" resolution.
Other than those problems, the phone works great.

Excellent messaging phone if you can find it

The good news about this phone is that it has so many great features that even many of today's phones don't have. The AMOLED display on this phone is very impressive. Photos and videos looked very nice on this display. The keyboard is probably the best keyboard I have ever used. It's very roomy, and the keys are very tactile. It's a shame that you don't find keyboards like this anymore. Not only that, it has very good call quality as well. The bad news is that it's a very large device, so be careful when putting it in a shirt pocket. The camera is capable of taking great pictures, but it requires a very steady hand to do so. I also have had occasions when the messaging program freezes up on me, but it usually starts working again after a while. Overall, although this phone's days of gracing brick and mortar stores have gone, it's still, at least in my opinion, one of the best messaging phones you can find.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, excellent keyboard, great call quality
Cons: not very pocket friendly

Great value for the price

Its too big for a purce but very functional and great value for the price.
Works perfectly in Chile with a local company SIM card.
Does not support full length mp3 for ringtone and you have to pay for every game.

The phone that could have been...

If Samsung would have committed to the widget concept this could have been a better phone. But limited softare additions and no updates limit its usefulness. After a few months, I also had issued with sticking keys on the keyboard and that is with keeping the phone in a case 7/24. Too bad, because this phone had great potential. But look elsewhere.
