Dont even bother with it

This phone was absolutely terrible. I bought it and was happy with it for the first 3 weeks. Then it began not sending texts and I would not be able to send them unless i restarted the phone. This was inconvenient but I was able to deal with it. But about 3 months after I got the phone the screen started shorting out. The colors started screwing up and then it just completely shut off. I got the replacement and 3 months later i have the same problem. If you don't enjoy long periods waiting for your phone to be replaced DO NOT GET THIS PHONE!
Pros: keyboard easy to use
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, broke every 3 months, stopped sending texts

do not purchase this
i own 2 samsung products
both have required service less than 6 months of use

I bought this phone in March, and i was texting someone and it decided to stop working. The next day the touch screen completely stopped working
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations, bad touch screen

Good thing there's a warranty...

I'm currently on my 3rd Impression within a year. It often drops calls, won't send texts without a restart, and the touch screen has gone out twice.
The touch screen is unreliable as far as longevity of the phone. With the first Impression, it just stopped working all together and I had to rely on only the call and end buttons to make calls, but could use text or any other feature. The second Impression lasted only 4 months before the touch screen started showing signs of inefficiency. I would touch a spot and it wouldn't click that spot, but something an inch away; if it actually registered the touch at all. I'm on phone number 3 and unless it dies again before the warranty is up, will not be getting another.
Pros: good for texting
Cons: doesn't last more than a few months

The phone worked ok for the first three months then the touch screen went out and the phone is absolutely useless for me. I had minor issues with it freezing and would have to restart and recalibrate it to get text messages. I wish I had never got this phone.
It Isn't Worth It.
Cons: Did not meet expectations, touch screen stops working for no reason, freezes, has to restart phone a lot

Have owned several Samsung phones in the past and was very pleased and no reservations about buying this one.
Was I ever wrong.
Can't wait for my contract to end on this phone so that I can throw it away and go get a decent phone.

samsung phones from captiva -impression freeze up way too much you always need to turn off phone then back on
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, features
