Design is good, feels good in your hands, nice touch and good to hold. Apps can be hard to manage, rarely messages can get lost in translation when you delete your inbox. Overall it's ten times better than the old phone I had, so I'm not complaining. Great for texting if that's what you buy it for.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable
Cons: Too big, Did not meet expectations
I would recommend this to a friend!

Me and my boyfriend both bought this phone because it had a lot of great features.... about a month after he bought his it starting freezing non stop.... the text messages will freeze but he can still recieve calls and make them. My phone on the other hand freezes but only occasionally but the camera, about 2 weeks after i got the phone, takes pictures that are pixellated and the color and contrast is all messed up.... Now i just found out everytime someone tries to call me they get dead air... It doesn't even ring to go through to my phone and no voicemail.... just blank dead air. ugh someone help me these phones need recalled and replaced.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I love the slide out full qwerty keypad, the size is large and easier for me to use than other phones. However, the location of the unlock key is stupid. It's not easy to use with one hand and sometime I even have issues with it with 2 hands. The touch screen is awesome, I just wish I could see it when I am outside in the sun. And the texting functions freezes up all the time so I have to shut the phone down at least once a day so I can send texts.
Pros: Bright display, Durable
Cons: Did not meet expectations

I've had this phone for nearly a year, and I really have nothing good to say about it.
The texting on this phone is awful. After the first month of having this phone, the keys started to stick, it lags really badly, it will add extra letters, skip letters, or put random periods in the middle of a sentence. Its such poor quality that it isn't even funny.
When the phone is on silent and someone calls me or sends me a text, the phone will vibrate and make the most awful sound you could ever hear. It sounds like a jet engine. I may as well just leave the thing on loud while working.
The touch screen isn't very appealing either. I'm surprised it hasn't gone out on me yet. It won't register that you have even touched it half the time.
The only good thing about this phone is the camera. It takes better pictures than my camera.

I would NOT recommend this phone to anyone. In all honesty, it was a waste of money. After using this product and having almost nothing but problems with it, I'm not sure I'll try another Samsung phone.

touch screen/glitches

when i first got the phone i thought i was pretty good however after a month i noticed the phone glitched the screen sometimes turning pink or black wen the phone was slid open. i would notice random monuments where i could not send or receive text messages and i would have to turn off phone nd turn it back on for it to work correctly again. the phone would not save edited contacts. in the contacts it would show the change however if the person called or sent a text the original name would come up causing confusion. and tonight 12/16/10 my touch screen started to fail i calibrated the screen not making any difference now the screen does not work at all. once the screen does not work the phone is rendered useless. the phone is weak and to prone to damage
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Poor quality, bad touch screen, glitchy, weak construction, complicated

After a year, screen suddenly goes blank when sliding it open - OR - screen colors change when sliding it open. A simple search on google found lots of people with the same problem, going back over a year. Do your homework and pick something else besides this phone.

good ideas loved the phone but is junk doesnt last emails hang up , screen goes out , keys dont work half the time do not buy this phone find something else that has same functions would not buy again should be recalled and or replaced for free !!!!!
