Excellent Phone

This has been a great phone so far. The features are great and easy to use. If you take the time to read the owner's manual you won't have any problems with figuring it out. Texting is easy and I really love the handwriting feature for it. Everything is right at your finger tips. Great, great phone.
The only negatives I have for the phone are the unlock button on the side, it's recessed under part of the phone making it a little difficult to push and hold for one second. The other negative, although not major either, is the volume of the ringing. I have mine set to Outdoors and the highest volume, but is still a tad quiet for my liking.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't know about you guys. But this phone is really good like it doesn't unlock in my pocket. I know the unlock button is located on a bad side but you just have to hold it and press it so it doesn't slide. There's an option to turn off the locking also. I haven't had any problems with the phone itself. I don't have texting or internet so that could probably be why. The camera quality is quite good but I prefer my digital camera. The speaker phone quality is amazing, I can hear it quite good. I don't know what else to say....but this is my review....so yeah. Samsung > LG. :D

No Voice Calling

In todays age of hands free cell phones they should ALL have hands free calling with voice commands. ALL my other phone had this feature. Push the button on your bluetooth and say a name and it dials. Never have to pick up the phone and TRY to search through contacts while driving. This is the first and probably LAST Samsung I will buy. Won't even let me update drivers. VERY Frustrating phone. And the sound level at the highest setting is so low I can barely hear it . NOT a happy person. I wanted the touch screen option. Got that but that is the only nice thing with this phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

decent phone with some problems

A phone that has some problems as far as messaging. Tends to freeze which can be annoying other than that a good phone. If an update occurs for the software problem phone will nearly be perfect.

no treaded messaging

The absolutely worst thing about this phone is IT DOES NOT HAVE THREADED MESSAGING. Waiting on Samsung to update their software. Who wants to keep going back & forth to the outbox & sent box it's just crazy.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: no treaded messaging

This is a good phone but the text messaging has a few issues at times when I am forced to turn my phone completely off and turn it back on in order for my text message(s) to send.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight
Cons: text messaging issues

This is my first touch tone phone and I like it. I am still getting used to the features, but the clarity and sound are very good. I am enjoying my Samsung Impression and will definitely consider another Samsung when I upgrade. Thanks.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color
Cons: a little heavy
