I absolutely love this phone and did buy one for my son.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color

I have had my phone for almost 2 months. I am impressed with the quality of pictures and amount of memory. However, It can be hard to see the screen in bright sunlight. I went ahead and brought a hard plastic cover to protect it. I am glad that I did as I have slid the phone across the floor and dropped it a few times. Since it is comparible to simliar slide phones under other networks. I bought some other accessories which work fine (speakers, case, ear plug etc).
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had this phone for four months and last night the screen blacked out and dosent work anymore the phone will turn on but it dosent pop up anything the battery is charged

Love the phone!!! You can type messages in 3 different ways using the keyboard, touch keyboard, and T9!!! Haven't had any problems with the phone and it is very light!!! I would so recommend this product and have used samsung products and have yet to have a problem with this brand!!!

problem with touch screen

"I had this phone for almost a year. The touch screen was working very good for 5 months, but one day it just wasn't working right. Got a replacement and 5 months later it wasn't clicking where i wanted it to, next day the touch screen totally stopped working.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

the touch screen just stop working. No drop or water damage or anything the touch screeen just stop working. I would not recomend this phone to anyone.

Not a smart phone yet still WOW

I love almost everything about my Samsung Impression. The touch screen is wonderful and functions well. The qwerty keyboard is well designed and I like the way it works. With the amount of usage I do (both texting and calls) I only need to charge it every day or 2 and it charges fairly fast. Also the camera does wonderful photos.
The only function that disappoints me is the Calendar. It does not give you nearly enough options to function well as a place to keep appts and such. There is no function for an appt only being every other week (a fairly common thing) also it won't let you set your own alarm time you are limited to a few strict choices as to how long before the event the alarm goes off. This would be forgivable if there were an app that could replace the calendar but there is not. If they could fix this issue I would give the phone 5 stars for everything.

Horrible!!! Don't waste your time or money.

I've had this phone a very short time. I've had to restart it a lot to send text messages and now the touchscreen is completely black and wont work. This is very irritating.
Cons: Poor quality, Did not meet expectations
