Worst Phone choice!
on August 30, 2010

I have had this phone for 8 mths & have had several things go wrong with it! Very disapointing purchase! The touchscreen is now completely broke. I can not get to any of my phones information. Before it started out that I noticed I would have to turn my phone on & off to get a text to send. Slowly I noticed I would need to recalibrate the phone, then just 3 days ago the touch screen stopped working all together! Do NOT get this phone!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great phone if you like to reboot ten times a day. If you are a heavy texter it freeze's up after twenty or so texts. They go to outbox and won't send. You have to shut the phone down and restart. Fun part is resend your messages again. Other than that a good camera and easy to use. Hope Samsung comes up with a fix before I ditch this possibly great phone for a better texting device.

This phone is indestructible.

This is a really good messaging phone. I've had it for a long time, and it's really held up well. I love the shape and size, and I like how I know when it's in my pocket so I can tell if it's missing, however, my favorite thing about this phone is that it's virtually indestructible. It has been dropped countless times, has gone into the bathtub, a glass of orange juice (don't even ask) all the way down a huge set of bleachers at my school, and has flown off the three hugest, toughest roller coasters I've ever been on and the worst that happened to it was once I lost the back. It still works perfectly. I would highly recommend this phone, especially to those who are accident-prone, like myself.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color
Cons: no earphone jack
I would recommend this to a friend!

An okay phone

I really love this phone to be honest. I love the big keyboard, the touch screen, the features, and even the camera. But, my phone has a flaw just as many others have told me there phone has the same flaw, which would be the problem of sending messages. I have to turn my phone off at least three times a day if not more to get it to send my messages. Its like one minute everythings fine, its sending messages perfectly and the next minute it won't send any messages until I turn it off. This problem becomes irritating after awhile and its the only down side to this phone. It makes me sad.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy this phone

Four months ago I would have said buy this phone but not now. I've had this about 6 months and just like all the other complaint, the screen has frozen up on me. I cannot access any of my stuff. The pictures that I want to delete, if you don't trash them right after taking them, there is no way to delete them later. When sending a text, sometimes you have to turn the phone off and then on because it won't send. When turning it back on, you have to wait several minutes for the messaging to update. Dont buy the junk!

Good & Bad

I found two reviews that I agree with completely! I can not give a better review than these two have. I hope they do not mind my "clip and paste". If you have ready every review then you have read these already. HOWEVER if you are considering buying a Impression read them again. It will save you disappointment in the future. Please read!
"This beautiful looking phone is only that...pretty. It's VERY difficult to use, nothing intuitive here. The manual does't really explain anything in any detail. The tutorials are for pre-schoolers. As for features, can you imagine a phone without speed dial? While you're driving, do you want to have to search your contact list for your own home number. This phone's ideas of speed dial requires you to active the widgets (like Vista's sidebar), drag an icon onto the screen, and select your "speed dial", which you are only allowed 5 of! They must be joking. I'm taking mine back ASAP!" The screen saver pictures that pop up when the phone is locked cannot be changed. That is one of the most irritating things, as I would like for my home pictures to be the screen saver picture. Maybe samsung could fix this with a software update or something (wink wink hint hint Samsung) note: the wallpaper is still customizable The "instruction" cd is nothing but a link to their website! Not even to the actual instruction manual PDF or anything useful like that just to their homepage as far as I can tell. This was the most frustrating part. So be forewarned that before you order this phone make sure you are comfortable with using the internet or your own intuition to figure out how to use the phone. Now, with that being said the phone is laid in what I though was a logical manner and nothing so far has been terribly difficult to find." The only thing I would like to add to these is that the software for the Impression is second rate. You can not exchange your calender, to do list, or your notes with your computer. There are cheaper Samsung phones that WILL do this.......... whats that all about. Please consider my Impression of the Impression. I only recomend that you by this phone if you just want a nice looking phone. For the money, there are better phones out there.

Terrible Phone

My biggest complaint about this phone has to do with its texting abilities, or lack thereof. The qwerty keyboard has serious problems, particularly with the letters t and u and the space bar. It will either give me too many of a letter, or no letter at all, and the space bar likes to pretend I double clicked it, causing a random period in the middle of a word. Also, I am repeatedly having to turn my phone off and on while texting people, because it will tire out and refuse to send a text message. The memory capabilities for the inbox are also pretty bad, as it hardly holds any texts.
My next complaint would have to be about the phones overall performance. This phone, in every area, has a slow reaction time and takes forever to load whatever I just clicked on (for instance, menu and then messaging).
I definitely do NOT recommend this product to anyone. While it looks sleek and nice, it is a real bummer.

Worst phone ever

This phone has so many issues. I have the texting bug, where the phone will randomly refuse to send any messages, but will still receive them fine. There's also an alarm clock bug, where it will reset itself and sometime fail if the snooze option is used. Recently, the keyboard started double typing characters while texting. Just yesterday the earpiece speaker went out, and now I can only make/receive calls with speaker phone. Terrible product!
