Great with an exception

We have had this product for about three weeks and had the service person out within the first week. The machine worked perfectly in all respects except it had a low level rattle. This rattle could have been ignored by closing the laundry room door. However, when there is a rattle in a new machine one is compelled to think there might be something loose that would cause greater damage if ignored. The service person worked for a full hour first trying to locate the exact source of the rattle and having given up on that worked to adjust the four leveling legs in various combinations to see if the rattle could be eliminated. The trick was to remove the rattle without leaving the machine in an out-of-level or unstable (rocking) condition. After about an hour passed the machine was marginally better but we agreed that further work would probably be fruitless and what we had was a good as could be expected. The service person suggested that the electrical heating coils might be resonating with the rotation of the tumbler to produce the rattle and that was not fixable. I agreed that was a possibility.
Of course if the heating coils were vibrating they would eventually break prematurely and that would be a major repair. Now I am compelled to wonder if I should return to the dealer to buy the extended warranty to try to out run that breakage. Alternatively, I can assume there is some internal sheet metal part the is resonating with the tumbler rotation and that could go on forever without major harm.
In any case one would expect a high quality design and assembly given the premium price of the machine.
By the way the presence or absence of a load in the machine has no effect on the rattle so that issue was ruled out early.

This dryer performs incredibly on all clothes! The Steam freshener is great for my dry cleaning clothes. The only negative is very large items such as comforters are not able to use automatic feature. Must put in own time, but only con is easy remedy.

I love this dryer! It is so quiet, you don't hear it running at all. It is so easy to use. Adjusting the settings is easy to do. I love the sensor drying, then I know my clothes are dry without being overdry.
I love the steam feature! It was one of the main reasons I chose this model and I have been very happy with my choice. The reduce static feature works very well! I use it for most every load I dry.

The clothes come out smelling so nice, and this is without using any dryer sheets!

SPEEDY DRYER

The clothes dried much quicker than in my old dryer. I used the steam dry for my pillows and they came out fluffy and fresh.

I am really happy with my new washer - it gets my laundry very clean without twisting it out of shape as sometimes happens with the top loading washers. It is pretty quiet except when it changes cycles - not that it is loud - but it does make a noticable sound which always scare my dog! My only negative is that the cycles take a long time (with exception of the quick mode). It seems like it takes close to an hour for even a smaller size load.

We purchased this dryer and the matching steam washer. We used consumer reports as a guide and visited several stores where the products we researched were on display. We were replacing an only seven year old top of the line Kenmore Washer and Dryer. The cost of a repair made a decision to purchase new.
After reading many reviews on a number of web sites we made the decision to purchase LG. Brand reliability was impressive and weighed heavily into the decision. We have been very pleased with the ease of operation, it's quietness, and sleek appearance. Our clothes have never been cleaner!!!

No let downs

We purchased this to replace an old set. It was purchased with its matching washer. Everything with it has been AMAZING. I have throw suits in the steam cycle and they have not come out faded or ruined, but rather as if I just picked them up from a cleaner MINUS THE COST. I have thrown LARGE loads in for 30 minutes and they have come out bone dry. There have been NO let downs with this dryer/washer yet.
