Bad Decision

Our refrigerator has has numerous problems and has been replaced within the first 6 months. We also bought the microwave and Dishwasher which we have been satisfied. Our plan was to buy the Double Oven as well as the Cook Top but have also read poor reviews on these items. We now need to consider a different brand for these and try to find something that matches. Our neighbors liked our refrigerator so much they bought one as well which is being replaced due to problems. I would not recommend the Electrolux products which is too bad because they look very good but perform very poorly.

Love the frig, ice maker?

I love the refrigerator, its keeps foods perfect and the appearance in the kitchen is a big plus... but, I have had problems with the ice maker, why it is in the warmer frig top I don't know, but ice is either wet or crushed, even the cubes. I have had an Ice ball twice and have had repairs and new replacement parts. I won't change for the world, but i think there is a problem when both doors are open to get or replace food, and the warmer air hits the ice maker....maybe more insulation around the cube box would work... anyway, keep working on it, i would buy another....thank you

WARNING- DO NOT BUY

THIS IS A WARNING TO ALL THAT ARE THINKING OF BUYING THIS PRODUCT. THE ICE MAKER DOES NOT WORK. I HAVE HAD TO GET IT REPAIRED 4X IN 1 YEAR. THIS IS A DEFECTIVE DESIGN THAT FREEZES UP.

Poor Design & Engineering

Had problems from the start. Defective control panel. Very small refrigerator compartment exacerbated by having ice maker inside refrigerator not freezer. Ice maker is tiny and holds very little ice. Water drips from ice maker into water dispenser sill if you open the refrigerator frequently. If you remove the ice container from the unit, it is difficult to re-insert as the interior ice maker prongs must align. The refrigerator shelves do not provide adequate space for tall bottles. The door shelves do not align with the interior shelves that caused 2 interior shelves to chip from bottles on the door striking the interior shleves. Overall, we are very disappointed.

Not That Great

Many problems with the icemaker/water supply from day one. The repairman has been here three times. The first visit was after we took a 2 week vacation and the water filter froze solid and broke. Fortunately I had turned off the house's water supply before we left, or we would have had a flood. The solution was to replace a circuit board with a revised version.
The next visit was again for a frozen icemaker. This time the solution was turn the freezer temperature up to 5 degrees (zero is recommended).
The next one week vacation we returned again to frozen water supply. This time we just waited until it went through it's regular defrost cycle and it started working again.
And can you believe this end-end unit doesn't come with either a butter or an egg keeper?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

LIke the refrigerator except for the icemaker

On the whole, I like the refrigerator. But we have had issues with the icemaker. I quits making ice on occasion. WIthin a month of purchase we had to have the icemaker unit replaced and on occasion, mostly when the ice is used up, say when we have a few family members over, it will stop making ice. i turn the icemaker off and back on and it usually starts working again.
Also, the ice bin doesn't hold much ice. When full, we are lucky to be able to fill 6 glasses. We usually have to buy ice at the store, when having more that 4 people over.

Ice machine blues

THe fridge is great but the ice machine is terrible. It hasn't worked right since we bought the fridge. I have another service scheduled for the same problem. Maybe they can fix it this time??
