Best printer I have ever owned

The Epson Artisan 710 out performs any printer I have ever owned. Photographs come out true to color, sharp and waterproof. The reasonable cost of consumable supplies such as individual color ink cartridges and photo paper makes the printer economical for printing digital photos for scrapbooking. The built in scanner is a real plus.

The main reason I purchased the Epson Artisan 710 was to print CDs and DVDs. I wanted an inexpensive printer, but one that still provided quality printing. The 710 has delivered on both counts.

Quality Photo Printing

We purchased the Epson Artisan 710 because my boyfriend is a photographer and we wanted to start printing cards featuring his photos on them. This is a great printer for that because it has very high quality photo printing. The reason I did not rate it a five-of-five stars is because I was disappointed it doesn't print on light-weight paper (like vellum...though you can "trick it" by taping standard paper to the back), and also it is a bit complicated to figure out how to print on different size papers (card size, etc.).

I got this to do lables for ebay and I also teach a preschool Sunday School class that I have to do a lot of copies for! I haven't used all the features yet, but so far I'm loving this Artisan. The ink is going to last much longer than I thought.

I needed to replace a nonfunctional 620. The 710 is way more advanced and print quality is superior.
